We had avoided dining here because of the health department finding them about 5 years ago. OUR LOSS! We tried it and was blown away by the food quality and taste! The restaurant is very clean, and so is the kitchen (visible through a large window behind the cashier). I've had the Japanese teshoku shrimp and the ramen set (tried the white broth which is boiled overnight and so impressed by its taste, that I ordered it again the next time we went there). Both were excellent. They also offerbrown rice which helps my diet restrictions. They are generous with the servings. The service is friendly and professional. It's become our new "go to" restaurant.Dietary restrictions: They offer brown rice.

The food is the star here. It's carefully prepared with high quality ingredients. The servings are beyond generous. You will be tempted to eat everything! I had the vegetable tempura and fried oyster combination lunch, served with miso soup and salad. Excellent all. Fried oysters are not easy to find on local Japanese restaurant menus; these were as tasty as those I've had in Japan. The vegetables in the tempura were carefully sliced and perfectly cooked. The tempura batter was light and not at all oily. We ordered a side of gyoza. They were plump and juicy with a nicely browned pan-fried base. The service was faultless and fast. The restaurant is clean and comfortable.Lots of things on the menu to explore on my next visit.

The ramen/rice combo is the best deal in town. This is my go to restaurant for a satisfying lunch or dinner. Always busy here, but the restaurant is very well ran and clean.

Been coming here forever and one of the best Japanese food places! Good portions, fairly inexpensive and BYOB, which is always good!!I called earlier to make reservations for 8 people and was told we dont take rez on the weekends. What?! So I told the woman, never mind we go somewhere who wants our business!! The most dumbest thing I heard, so this place is willing to lose a huge dinner bill?! Esp during these tough times?! We come at least 2-3 times a month, not now!! Btw, Gyotaku down the street which is very busy, takes rez so will go there.

I've been seeing a lot of local style dining menus that include a mix of curry, katsu, ramen, fried rice, and gyoza dishes. This one compares similarly to others I've tried though the green onion was very sparse in their ramen. This is a jack of all trades, master of none type of option. The protein is plentiful though so no complaints there.

Menu selection was plentiful, food was good, but I was surprised to be charged for my cup of tea! It wasn't anything fancy, just a tea bag in hot water, but it was $2.75! I don't even recall seeing it as a charge on the menu.

We got there on a Saturday around 4:30pm, we were the only diners in the restaurant for the duration of about an hour. Place is very clean, simple. Service is fast. Food was great for a casual Japanese spot, good value. I had shrimp tempura with cold soba. Oh I was surprised and happy when it actually arrived not only al dente but ice cold. When I order cold soba at other places it's good and cold, but these noodles definitely had a good ice bath and it definitely made them extra refreshing! My company got a combo meal, with mini ramen, gyoza, curry katsu on rice with a salad. The combo was only $16 and portions were unexpectedly more than we thought it was going to be. That's a super great price given how expensive food everywhere has become. We will definitely come back again if we're in the area and looking for a pit stop to eat. Parking in the plaza. Lot was already quite full of cars when we arrived, but we found a spot.

Went here for my mom we wanted to try somewhere different instead of the same usual place. My Mom ordered the Shoyu Ramen she liked it, My Dad got the Butterfish dinner and side order Vegetable and Shrimp tempura he liked it too. I got a combo with teriyaki chicken it was on the dry side and the chicken was so thin also came with Gyoza it was alright and a small ramen which was okay. My Son also got a combo with plain Udon Gyoza and a mini katsu curry Now he likes this place and wants to go back again. We also got the Kalbi Butterfish combo, The Kalbi was on the chewy side not so good Butterfish was Good. Will be back want to try something else on the menu.
