L’AMI Bakery & Cafe, located inside H mart is a Good Bakery. Some of the baked goods were not put out yet and things were trickling in so I bought a selection of what was already available . I personally had the Chocolate Shell Bread. It’s much smaller than most bakeries and the bread wasn’t as soft, but the chocolate filling was generous and had a nice velvety strong chocolate taste. Very yummy. I’m not much of a cookie person but I thought the Red Velvet Cookie was very good and went well with my tea! My mom really enjoyed the Spinach and Feta Danish a lot and said it’s something she would eat again. She also enjoyed the Castella Lovely Bear & Red Bean Bun. My Sister had the Rose Lychee Ade. She said it was too sweet for her tastes but she liked the Soboro Custard Cream Bread. My nephew liked the Garlic Cheese Croissant and Castella Banana. The place was clean and seating was available to enjoy the more cold items to eat right away so I will take advantage of that when I come again to taste the fresh cream and strawberry pastries ? Mahalo for reading and hope you find something yummy to enjoy if you decide to come check it out.

I have been getting an Iced Latte from them in a regular basis and I want to say that they have always been very friendly... the coffee is great too. They also have a lot of interesting pastries and deserts. Although I am not a sweets person, the items I have tried were all very good.

Fantastic croissants. I had a strawberry, cream-filled one. Buttery and flaky. Yum! Inside H Mart.

Located in the H Mart Pearl City location, this is a yummy, stand-alone bakery to treat youreelf to after shopping! . I like this place for a few reasons. The variety of goodies is amazing! Croissants, cakes, cookies, brownies. Not to mention the flavor variety! Saw yuzu, black seasame, matcha, sweet potato. Always something new try! Lots of fun seasonsal flavors. . The aesthetic is so cute! Soft pinks, heart-shaped straws. The girls working always serve great customer service. Can't complain! They take cash or card. No points or reward system that Im aware of. . Lastly, their prices? Affordable! 3 pastries for 7$. C'mon! This is a notable point as we all strive for something tastey and cost-efficient these days! Perfect for you and your whole family to find something they like! . Can't wait to see the new treats coming out this summer!

Softest croissants on this island! The only croissant I can think of that I've tried in my life that was softer was in Paris I got the lemon pistachio croissant and my husband got the cookies and cream and wow! The lemon flavor was strong, perfect if you love lemon. The cookies and cream had a nice cream through the middle with an Oreo. We had these for dessert after dinner and they were perfect and a nice sweet ending to our meal.

The pastries are very well made. Drinks are just okay and the cakes are amazing! So light yet flavorful. The issue I have with this place is the service. Maybe they should re train their employees to be nicer and at least greet customers. Several different employees will just ring you up without so much as a hi or thank you. Just really rude altogether like they don’t want you there.

Coffee break, especially since we were trying to kill time while it was storming outside. Hubs wanted to try the Tiramisu croissant. Cute presentation but there wasn't really any tiramisu flavor and the cream on top wasn't really sweet. Flaky croissant, however. We enjoyed our lattes more. I don't usually like rose but this one had the perfect amount of floral flavor. For the black sesame, need to give it a mix to get the flavor but that one was probably my fave. The sweet potato latte was also good. We also loved the heart shaped straws. Learned that the cream filled croissants are more recommended. Know better for next time.

Excellent bakery with good latte's. This is inside H-Mart, but right in front so it's easy to get to. Delicious croissants with unique flavors, and beautiful to look at!

Finally! we have a bakery on this side of island beside safeway! LolIt's inside H-mart by the exit.I like Asian bakery because the cream is light and not as sweet like zippys.... although I do like Chantilly cake and chocolate cake from zippys.I really enjoyed their Halloween special cake. Very light and yummy.I ordered cookies n cream birthday cake. That was very good too.Little more sweet than strawberry shortcake. But we enjoyed it too.The price for cake is almost half of other bakery!Pastry are good too.I didn't get to try all, but I like the package that has multiple different small pastries in a bag.I will definitely go here for cake again!

Tsk, why don't I follow my mother's sage advice about not grocery shopping when hungry?! You'd think I would've learned that lesson during my lifetime. We were in the Pearl City neighborhood to do grocery shopping for hot pot or shabu shabu ingredients at H Mart for a home cooking project. When we entered H Mart, instead of following my husband into the grocery store, L'Ami Bakery's bright digital menu and neatly displayed baked goods grabbed my attention from the store's Food Court. We hadn't eaten breakfast yet because we had come from our dental cleaning appointments and were instructed not to eat for at least 30 minutes. We agreed to have brunch in town after completing our shopping and when we returned home. However, I was drawn to L'Ami Bakery when I spotted their baked goods prettily displayed and its bright digital menu like a moth to bright light. As I started to browse through the individually wrapped pastries displayed on a table, both workers behind the counter heartily greeted me. I zeroed in on their yuzu, almond, and chocolate croissants and quickly paid for them before entering the grocery store. Luckily, we've been inside this well-organized H-Mart several times before, so we did our typical "surgical strike" marketing technique. We were in and out of the market within 10 minutes and rushed home. After unwrapping the croissants, I cut them into halves to see the lamination or layers of these croissants. Indeed, they had a flakey and honeycomb-like interior structure. The yuzu cream filling had a light and bright, citrusy flavor without being overly tart. The almond croissant was garnished and filled with an almond cream or frangipane. Its nutty almond flavor was subtle yet brought out the buttery flavor of the croissant. The chocolate croissant was not filled but only dipped in dark chocolate and topped with sliced almonds. We liked the dark chocolate since it didn't add the cloying sweetness that milk chocolate does. We'd return to try more of L'Ami Bakery's pastries and Asian-style cakes and pastries.

COFFEE JUSEYOLove the cute atmosphere this place brings to H-Mart. Although I love their fancy baked goods, sometimes I just want a plain croissant. I loves the cafe latte's and americanos. But the drink that really sets this a part from other cafe's is the iced ube latte with a shot of espresso added.
