Make sure you order what you see otherwise refuse it, the folks behind the counter will short change you with half the size of what you see versus what they serve. I ended up throwing the Rice cake $1.75 into the trash after I told the server they need to give the size that is shown in the display which she refuted saying it is, they are greedy

OMG, I GUESS IT'S HARD TO FIND A GOOD CHINESE RESTAURANT ? THE FOOD WAS HORRIBLE!!! THE NOODLES WERE TASTELESS AND OVERCOOKED, THE CHAIRSU TASTED LIKE SOMETHING THEY DUG OUT THE TRASH, THE ROAST PORK WAS TASTELESS AND MOSTLY FAT, AND THE ROAST DUCK WAS THE WORST I'VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON'T GO THERE TO EAT, SAVE YOUR MONEY OR TAKE UP CHINESE COOKING YOURSELF!!! As I'm sitting here writing this review I'm hoping that I don't have food poisoning because I feel like I'm going to be sick!!!!

Most delicious rice cake freshly made with the honeycomb texture. It doesn't have that vinegar or sour like taste. I've been searching for days to find it and I give them a 5 star for their delicious sweet dessert.

Coworker said the charsiu was good here so off we went for lunch... Ordered the charsiu rice plate...slightly smaller portion but for the price it seemed good... The charsiu was dry, and the rice tasted old...probably good for the price but def not a destination location.

I got the manapua and pork hash..the pork hash was raw inside and the manapua had so little meat...what a waste of my money!!

Came here for takeout for dinner tonight. I ordered the char sui plate as substituted the rice with chow fun. Hubby ordered a orange chicken plate with fried rice. When we came home, I started eating my food which was really good. Loved the char sui. But as I was picking at the chow fun I saw a bug on top of one of the noodles. Felt a little grossed out. But I just took off the part the bug was on and just ate my char sui since it wasn't on the bug. My hubby enjoyed the orange chicken plate. Unfortunately, I threw away 75% of the plate. Just finished the char sui. Anyways, the workers are friendly and nice and their food is good.

Order roast duck and chair siu. Chair sue tasted perfect, roast duck seem to be boiled and not roasted, meat was soft, tasted good, but could be better if duck skin were crispy, but not deal breaker, was convenient located in don,q food court in Waipahu. HawaiiSplitAc.com

Pearl's plate the chow fun was cooked with water. It was bland. The lemon chicken was tender and lemony. The pot roast pork was soft and savory. The beef broccoli was tender and well seasoned not salty.

Been coming often and buying the char siu plate and notice that portions are getting smaller. This last time they only gave 7 cut pieces of char siu...not paying $7 dollars for that again. They need to start weighing the portions out to be consistent.

Conveniently located in Don Quijote and we were able to order ahead so we could pick up food as we were done shopping. Those are about the only positives besides the char siu manapua, which was warm, fluffy, and delicious. Picking up the food was a different story. We were informed when we go there, 40 minutes after ordering, that they were out of the pork hash that we had ordered and the char siu we had ordered for the 2 item plate option. Understandably, it was LNY so I wasn't surprised they were sold out, it just would have been nice to know ahead of time so we wouldn't have had to wait another 15 min for substitutes. I was informed the pork hash would be taken off of our receipt and I would be refunded. That did not happen as I had to take matters into my own hands to make sure we got refunded. We were disappointed when we came home with this meal. The sweet and sour spare ribs were somehow completely dried out but also greasy without flavor. The worst ribs we have ever had and we felt so bad that we couldn't even eat it, as it had to go to waste. The roasted duck and pork (which replaced the char siu) weren't bad. The duck was decent, not bad. My boyfriend enjoyed the pork but all I could taste was salt. The half moons were pretty good, just definitely had been sitting on display all day. Maybe other items on the menu may have been better, but definitely not worth it again even for the price.

Love the price love the food. Located in Don Quihote Waipahu. They are on the far left corner of the food court. Same old Chinese food with charsiu and roast duck/ pork in their showcase window. Ordered the charsiu plate special. Very good deal and portion was okay. This place prices is much cheaper than the other vendors there so I see why more people order from here.
