The nicest recreation center I have ever been to. Located on Schofield Military Base. Military, DOD or dependent ID required to enter base. Located next to a Chapel and Martinez Gym. There is plenty of street parking. The venue hosted Brian McKnight Concert. Doors opened at 6pm and show started at 7pm. The line started at 5pm. You weren't allowed to hold seats for anyone and every seat was first come first serve. Once the doors opened they checked your ID and let you in. Purses were allowed. And there was no dress code. Come in what you felt comfortable with. Don't forget the best part "Free, Free, Free" entrance. It was put together so elegant. You couldn't tell it was a recreation center. There were tables with white linen table cloths and intimate candles everywhere. I'm not sure if they had food. No one sitting next to me had food. They did serve alcohol drinks. I saw mixed drinks, wine bottles and different types of can beers as well. Brian McKnight came out on time, sang for one hour and a half with no breaks! If you went to pee you missed it. I'm glad he did it like that. I loved every moment. I don't like went artist break every five minutes or have you singing there song the whole time. It was none of that with Mr. McKnight. He is truly an artist, professional and funny.Mr. McKnight had a questions and after session after on stage that was about 20 minutes. Followed by a meet and greet. I left at the meet and greet. As I didn't see a sign up for that so I am unsure how people were able to show up. Thank you thank you thank you! So much for hosting this amazing event. I will be returning.

It’s hit or miss.. Friday nights are best nights. Chill place. Good prices. Free pool. Single solider on post I’d come here to watch football games or anything for free and play games.

Staff is very helpful and friendly. Besides the weird hours, it’s a great place for lunch and to hang out especially on Friday nights.

BOSS headquarter. Free wifi, video games, pool tables, ping pong tables, lounge available. Often there will be events going on here with prizes. Operation hours are kind of random and hard to memorize. $0.75 wings Friday night.

This place has weird hours. I think they are only open Thurs-Sun or something like that. They are located by Conroy bowl, on the road that leads to the post office. There's a lot to do here. You can play pool, grab a bite to eat, watch tv, play on some game consoles, air hockey, ping pong and on the weekends I think they have beer pong, music, karaoke, and bar stuff. As long as you are a DoD card holder I believe you are able to use the facilities here free of charge. Our group liked to come here for the food and play a few games of pool on our lunch. We have eaten the fries, onion rings, burgers, turkey burgers, and wings here. All were pretty good and cheap of course. If you are looking for a cool place to kick it on post, this place would be it.

Fun atmosphere. Good memories from there right before I deployed to Afghanistan.

The food isn't great, but it's a nice place to have a drink and watch the game. There's a full bar and they have pool and ping pong tables.

Tropics is a great place to grab a bite to eat or a drink, play some pool or other games, watch sports, or just get together with friends. It is both spacious and updated. The staff is friendly, the prices are low, and the food is pretty good! If you are looking for a sports bar environment that isn't dark and dreary and that offers lots of different activities, I would definitely recommend Tropics.

I love this place! What an awesome environment... Seriously. I walked home with my sandals off after a few captain and jacks. The staff were really friendly. They have a strict serving policy, but they don't shy away from serving you another round when you're ready. The shots weren't expensive either. My double was 5 or 6$, and they did t give me a hard time about getting another one. There were large TVs and music all around. There are pool tables and poker tables to play for free when available, but there are a lot- so I'm pretty sure there's never a long wait. There's Xbox and play station hookups with gaming chairs that seem really comfortable. There's a dj booth that is raised, and a stage for performers. There are nice Lounge couches and tables for people to just hang out. I get really comfortable in there. The menu was nice. Convenient and not just full of crappy greasy food. There's salads, cheese burgers, different appetizers, and it is all super cheap! They give you great portions too! That's what I'm talking about.... I will definitely be going back.
