I did one of these reviews for Google and it went something like this. I love the show. The staff, music and band were exceptional. The emcee had a great personality, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He had an awesome sense of humor. I love how we got to take pictures of the whole family with the weapons. If there was one downfall, it was the food. It just was not good. I dont know if it was the preparation method or what, but everything i got was cold and it just didnt taste good. The moral of this story is, if you want an awesome show, this is perfect for that. If you want to eat and enjoy it, this is not the place for you.

So far the best Luau on the island! Interactive, friendly and fun! The food was great and the kids loved visiting the different stations while waiting for the luau to begin.

...just WOW. There are luaus and then there is this one. This experience exceeded expectations from delicious food to the interactive learning activities. Such nice and wonderful people. Awesome location and just can't say enough about the organization and the love. You just gotta go there. It will be nothing like other luaus. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Mahalo.

Found this luau last minute for a Sunday 3/2/24 show. They honored the Groupon reservation and we had perfect seating. From Waikiki this was a 30 minute drive, with free parking. The views were breath taking as the sun began to set. I did get bit from mosquitos. You're greeted with shells, kukui nut, or fresh flower lei depending on seating type. The activities were lei making, coconut/banana peeling, braiding leaves/baskets, tattoos and kava tasting. The show started promptly at 5:30pm and we really enjoyed the performers, the host, the dancers and representation of all the islands - Fiji, NZ, Tonga, Samoa, Tahiti, and Hawaii. It was very entertaining and authentic. When they closed with the fire dance, we were blown away. The luau fare buffet was salad, ube rolls, buckwheat noodles, bbq chicken, Japanese sweet potato, fish, kalua pork, lomi salmon, poi, grilled/sliced pineapple and white cake as dessert. I enjoyed the crispy pig sampling when they did the roast pork presentation. My favorite part of the luau was the band itself. They did cover songs as the sun set and they were so good throughout the show! I recommend putting a tip jar at the exit. The show was amazing.

Saw the show this week and highly recommend to anyone trying to decide which luau to pick. The staff were all incredibly kind, hospitable and welcoming to newcomers. Their knowledge and experience in the culture really added to the show from start to finish. The food was good and the performance was top notch. Every performer gave it 100% and did it with a genuine smile on their face. They even honored my wife and myself for being there celebrating our anniversary. Other members of the audience could join the performers on stage as well if you want to be involved with the show. The grand finale performance was the cherry on top but I don't want to spoil it for new audiences, I'll just say it's absolutely a must-do while visiting Oahu. Thank you to everyone involved at Mauka Warrior Luau, Mahalo

it was wonderful. beautifully executed. everybody was kind, respectful and organized. there were plenty of activities for adults and kids. and the show was an extremely enjoyable experience. as well as the history incorporated throughout.

This was an incredible experience. The view was incredible. The food and drinks were great. The staff was so welcoming. They created a beautiful, educational, and immersive event that involved the audience. There was plucky humor which I appreciated. There were handmade souvenirs/items from a small local business. I definitely recommend this experience and I hope to return at some point.

The experience was wonderful! A beautiful view of mountains and city lights at night. They put on an incredible show. The food was delicious and the kava root drinks were a great start! Everything was so organized! There was a variety of experiences! Coconut shaving, banana peeling (sounds odd saying but truly super cool), head band making, the cutest handmade souvenirs, great digital face recognition photo downloads throughout the night, such personable staff, tattoos, and great audience participation!I truly believe there is no better luau experience! They worked so hard! This was truly an amazing experience for me and my husband. The food was good but the entertainment and guest participation was the real deal. The hula dancers and warriors were gorgeous! Beautiful backdrop of diamond head and Waikiki beach. I will never forget it and certainly will recommend. Mahalo for memories of a lifetime. We had a fabulous time here at Mauka warrior luau, food was great. The staff were so friendly and the show was amazing. I really did like the family feel to the whole luau, and appreciated the culture that they showed us. Definitely will come back if we are here in Oahu.

This event exceeded all expectations! Everyone hosting was delightful. We took fun pictures together, learned about the polynesian culture, ate such good food, and all the dancers, fire and hula, were AWESOME!! If you go to a luau on Oahu, this is the ONE ❤️!

First time Malihini attending a Luau so not comparing w/any other. First of all the show was Shaka great if that's all anyone is interested in but, but the hefty price tag also includes a Luau buffet and that's where this establishment drops into a Pali or cliff. Believe it or not the fix is very simple and I hope the big Kahuna listens to me. KEEP THE FOOD HOT!!! Your outside,it gets cold at sundown, after your first serving ( which by the way it was already luke warm at best) the food got really cold and some of your dishes like the pig, chicken, fish rice, noodles has to be enjoyed I repeat really enjoyed HOT!!! ? If that's to hard to achieve then drop the price of package (and I mean really drop )eliminate the buffet and I assure you that your Malihini will be much happier.

Felt like family when we arrived. Very intimate and special. Educational and entertaining. Everyone showed great talent due to the obvious love of what they do, you notice they take great pride in sharing their faith and historical education. From the youngest to the oldest they are entertainers, historians and craftsmen. The food was AMAZING and plentiful. The scenery was spectacular. Thank you for the wonderful evening.
