Love the spicy poke nigiri so much, I go atleast 3x a week to get my fix ? Just wish the bacon roll was the same like it use to be. I ordered it 3x when new owners came and the bacon was not crispy.
Too salty to eat. The shopping center looks old and rundown. The signs and walls need to be repainted. When entering the restaurant, it smelled neither good nor bad. The customer service was very good and the young girl behind the counter was nice and professional. I ordered several items including a spicy ahi don. Unfortunately, the spicy ahi was too salty. I could not finish the food. I ended up throwing away half of my spicy ahi don.

We found this place on another online platform after going to the Dole Plantation. It is located in a strip mall that looks old and run down so we were skeptical. We located the restaurant in the corner of the lot (next to the Goodwill). We sent a scout in take a look prior lol. The scout gave us the all clear so we entered the restaurant, which was clean and had open tables. We were greeted by a nice man who took the time to get to know us and give us some island history. Ok to the food: There were 4 of us. Each ordered a different entree. 1. Spam hand roll and a tempura hand roll - deliciousness 2. Energy roll- this tasted very fresh and was a roll with eel and avocado on top with eel sauce- deliciousness 3. Ahi poke bento box- came out looking just like the picture on the menu( how many times does that happen!) lots of fresh fish and rolls- deliciousness 4. Tempura shrimp bowl with spicy sauce on top. Tempura shrimp Packed in a bowl on a bed of rice. - deliciousness 5. Spicy ahi poke bowl- came out with tons of fresh ahi covered in spicy mayo and sriracha sauce. - delicious if you like spicy fresh fish. This mom and pop shop deserves your business. The food (all of it) tasted fresh and made with care. I would not write it if it wasn’t true. They will serve you a complimentary miso soup to start ( no spoons here, sip out of cup!) All in all great grub. We will be back!

Not the best picture I took but we were hungry and ready to eat! We had the unagi bento set and specialty bowl and it was both so good! Their dumplings and shrimp tempura( not in picture) were amazing too! It’s got the perfect crispy texture and very freshly made! Their sushi was very fresh and oh man the unagi was so soft without that fishy taste you get sometimes. I’m a bit picky with eel sauce because if it’s a bit too sweet then it ruins the experience for me but their unagi bento had the perfect amount of rice in ratio to unagi and the sauce! We have been going to Kapolei when we craved sushi but I think we found a closer spot we like more! Owners were very sweet and you already know good customer service makes your dining experience even better! We will be coming back often.

My mom was craving Sushi really bad so me and the Husband bought SushiMan for her for Lunch today. I was told New Ownership took over in January, therefore, I would highly recommend ordering in person than over the phone, especially if your a first time customer. Avoids any miscommunication and you see exactly what you get as well, and, for repeat customers getting used to the New Menu and other changes. My family enjoys the sushi here. It’s convenient and prices are fair. Don’t let the outside fool you like some reviewers commented. Its a decent sushi spot and it got a 7/10 from my family so pretty good! The Hamachi was particularly outstanding to my mom and it was her new favorite. I unfortunately am allergic to seafood so I had the Teri Chicken Donburi which was just right for me. Chicken was cooked well with just the right amount of sweet teri sauce. Im not a huge SPAM fan but i will eat it teriyaki style and sliced thin, however the New SPAM Donburi is Cubed. Prefer the old style. But that’s just me. Probably fine for others that aren’t as picky as I am. Lol. Next time i will try the Chicken Katsu Donburi Bowl and the Vegetable Tempura. Looking forward to it!! ?

Hold on wall, don’t judge by appearances, food is really fresh and tasty. Owner is also very nice and generous! Would highly recommend. Stopped by here for a better lunch from Dole Plantation rather than pay for over priced unhealthy lunch options there.

Decided to try out this little whole in the wall. Do noy be fooled by the appearance. They have a great selection, good prices and tasty fresh items. I got the rainbow bowl and was surprisingly very good. Will return again.

This place is great for a couple bucks you can get a delicious and filling hand roll. if you're looking for a cheaper meal or filling snack in Oahu. Uncut sushi you eat it like a burrito. Fried rice had very large nice pieces of chicken.

I work in Wahiawa and have been coming here for years. Is it the best sushi on island? No. Is it the best sushi in Wahiawa? Definitely! Fast, friendly service with a smile. The owner always remembers me and my order. Which maybe isn't a surprise since I've been eating here weekly the last few years. Had to keep them open during the pandemic! My go-to is the Volcano Bowl- Medium spicy- everything OK (mayo and onions mixed into the fresh raw ahi) - wasabi and (pickled) ginger. Although I order the Medium everytime it seems to have gotten hotter over the years. I think they are pushing my taste buds to higher heights and I'm OK with that. So if you're looking for quick made-to-order sushi in a relaxed setting (some seats available inside again) this is the place in Wahiawa.
