We had slices of Chocolate Cream, Blueberry Cream, and Banana pie. They were good. The cheeseburger deluxe was more meatloaf and less "burger." Odd texture and no traditional beef flavor. The vegetable toppings were the best part. Didn't finish the burger.

Wow! Casual cafeteria style restaurant. Great food, affordable prices and amazing staff. Frequented by the locals. Came here based on google reviews and was pleasantly surprised.

Great mom/pop local stop for breakfast. You can do breakfast, brunch food, lunch food. There’s quite a variety of options to select from. It is a small place and can get busy pending the time of the day that you go. High recommend.

Wow! When I get off the bus to walk to work, I can smell the scent of frying bacon in the air.... yuuumm! I've had incredibly too good self-control not to have stopped in sooner. I did use to go to Sunnyside regularly, but I hadn't checked out Tanya's yet. I got the fried rice plate with meat choice, BACON, and 2 eggs over-easy. Can we say bacon? A mound of bacon, nice and crispy! This is why my co-worker and I would order a plate with extra eggs to spilt. The rice and bacon portions are definitely enough for sharing. I did not order ahead and waited just a few minutes for my order to be ready (otherwise, I would have more pics to share!). I was prepared with cash to pay. That's another reason I hadn't spotted in sooner because I don't always carry cash. But they take Credit card and ApplePay now! Broke da mouth as the saying goes! When I broke into the second egg, I noticed the yolk was so orange. I'm wondering if they use local eggs from Petersons Upland Farms. I need to ask next time I stop in. Because now that I have broken that flood gate I know I'll be coming here more!I also had to grab a pie to go to share with my coworkers. I've had all their delicious choices over the years but decided on a peach pear today! Fast, local, quality food!

Second time here. Ordered a teribeef mahi mix. Teribeef lacked flavor and was really tough to eat. Mahi-mahi was really dry and chef made tartar lacked that sour tart pickle flavor. It's a hit or miss here! I don't love it but I don't hate it either.

Great place for breakfast!!!! Love the fried rice with hotdog!! Service is awesome. So friendly. Love the big parking lot and lots of tables to eat inside the restaurant. Very diner-like. They also do take out. **New info** They now accept card!!!!!

Ordered the fried rice corned beef hash plate. Brought me back to the 80s old school grinds! Will definitely be back to try the other dishes.

Cash only...breakfast here is good n plentiful... it's enough for 2 people to share. Good flavor on the fried rice & fluffy very greatly priced hotcakes. Grab a whole pie or just a slice, lots of options of flavors. There is not really a pin wait for food, the food comes out quick.

I always get the French toast platter, which comes with two eggs, your choice of meat (I always get spam), and 3 French toasts. I ask for my eggs over medium, and they always come out perfect. They have ketchup and hot sauce. I also order a coffee that comes with free refills. They have cream and sugar. I also buy the hot dog in a roll and a pie slice for lunch. Everything is so Ono! Anything you get is delicious! I also love that they open at 5 am.Parking: Parking lot has plenty spaces and right next to the door.Kid-friendliness: Very much like a diner, so kids are welcome.Wheelchair accessibility: No ramp needed, so you can enter very easily.

Pies tasted old and warm when it should have been cold, especially in a hot kitchen.Looks like the slices sit there all morning based of of the way it tasted.I really wanted to like this place.Fried rice special was okay. Hubz enjoyed the double meat plate.

Came here for the first time last week on Monday. Lady who took my order, said okay, then went back to the kitchen to cook left me standing at the counter. While waiting, about 4 people came and went meaning order and pay and I'm still waiting. Everyone in front of me did the same. I had to ask to pay...Food came out quick. I went for the pie first because who doesn't love chocolate cream pie while in Wahiawa in the morning? It's a vibe. The quality of perishable pies needs to be checked on Monday. Now that I'm thinking about it, that same pie is on the menu every day. With that said, quality should be checked regularly. Our chocolate cream slices were sitting on the counter, for I dont know how long in a hot kitchen? The crust tasted old and filling room temperature warm...it's supposed to be cold.Even hubs said it's no good. Dude loves anything chocolate.
