Very delicious food. This place is a hidden gem. If more people knew how good the food was, there would be a line around the building all day and night.

Forced Pork What is it with these places that force you to buy a certain amount of weighted food? Why can't I purchase 1/2 pound of juicy meat? Is it because: 1) Its protocol to buy 1 pound, anything less is an insult! 2) Slicing half the meat leaves the other half looking ugly 3) Math is hard 4) No one is gonna buy the other half 5) The juices will leak out of the other half Whatever the reason is here, fact is some places allow 1/2 pound purchases and others don't. Are some places just not that confident in selling the other half? Is the customer being a PITA and should always buy the full slab? And do the ones that do versus the ones that don't, is there a correlation to the quality of the overall establishment? ORDER: 1 pound Lechon 1/2 sliced $12 SNAP CRACKLE CRUNCHOMETER: (7/10) Definitely some crunch here and a very good balance of meat to fat ratio JUICYNESS: (5/10) Average, it wasnt soaking in salsa and the fat had some slicky sheen but the meat was a little on the dry side AROMATICS: (4/10) Onion and Tomato was separated and the oil used for this lechon was different from others, coconut oil maybe, or they cooked something else in the fryer that had coconut, hmm. I was a little turned off thinking about it. VALUE: (6/10) $12 slightly above average steep and no sides, its an entree meant for more than one person but then you'd have to tack on everything on top of that to make 2 or 3 complete meals out of it. OVERALL RATING AND RANK: (6/10) Its an okay Lechon but the Pork life would be so much easier if we can just have it in smaller portions and that 1/2 pounder available now would it? I would still get this for value though over #13.

This was our go-to place for lumpia for years when it was Marilou's. No more. We ordered both pork and vegetable lumpia for a family gathering we were having. There was hardly any meat in the pork lumpia and the vegetable ones were almost equally scant on filling. The result was unappealing and very doughy. Also, the order was placed several hours ahead of time and was still not ready when we came for pick-up. Very disappointing.

This was It's the first time that we tried this place. Places very clean services in a little slow. when we entered there was only 1 worker and she was still bringing out food to the buffet line. We waited almost 30 mins before another worker came in and actually took our order. You ask why we waited so long? well we weren't in a hurry and I was a little under the weather and really wanted chicken papaya, lol... So it seemed like there was a bit confusion with ordering from the buffet line and dining in. The prices at the buffet line are a little different and I thought went by container size that they have out. On the menus on the table ordering ala carte is one price. Well that wasn't the case when we paid. When my husbabe went to pay they rang us up with the buffet prices, of course my husbabe just paid it and I had a fit. Lets just say the long wait, the frustration with the language barrier he just wanted to get out of there. The food was okay, I cant say I won't try this place again, but its not one of my first picks and I was really hoping it was going to be since its so close to home, lol...

The place was empty when we walking in. I'm not familiar with the name for their food so I just got the adobo fried rice, pancit and the limpia and it was very good! Tastes fresh and we got plenty of food.

This place used to be the best place to go when trying to get your Filipino fix, but that was when they were Marilou's. Since the name change and new business owners their quality of everything has decreased significantly. I've gone there on 3 occasions recently and they "ran out" of their adobo fried rice every time! The adobo fried rice is pretty much their star dish. On top of that they take forever and a decade to serve you. I've also witnessed them turn away customers 15 minutes to closing.

Most Filipino restaurant give Free rice. This one you have to pay about $1.00 per scoop.

I have had good food here before, but when i ate here today, the food was not good. I ordered the Pinapaitan nga baka and the soup tasted like straight vinegar and salt, the dinaguan also had so much vinegar. Better just stay home and cook these dishes myself.
