I love Waianae BBQ! The prices are the best compared to other Korean BBQ restaurants. It's more affordable than Yummys, Pearls and Kapolei Korean BBQ. I like that instead of having a house special like their competition. They have 3 different house combos to choose from.I wish the restaurant was more updated but I am always welcomed warmly. The staff works hard to make the food and quality come out correctly. No one in Waianae complains about this restaurant.My favorite go-to's are house combo 1 or 2 or the Local Favorites. They also make authentic Korean soups and dishes that you may not see other places. And they have the Zucchini Jun! Love it. The soda machine was recently updated and the facelift that the owners did looks good.Vegetarian options: Korean restaurants always have a large section of veggie side dishes.Dietary restrictions: Your able to ask the cooks for brown rice or other restrictions. Just make sure they have what you need.Parking: The parking is free and open. The restaurant is located in a shopping center.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of tables for the kids to sit down at. Bathrooms are clean and available if you decide to eat there with the kids.

Yummy in my tummy! We normally do carry out. Phone orders are painless. Some places are not but it's easy peasy here. Very spacious inside. We always order Meat Jun and Stir fried squid. Kimchee soup is on point

One of the only Korean barbecue places in Waianae. Its not a sit down restaurant. You order your food, and they have tables you can seat yourself at and eat there. They got AC, and bathrooms. What more you need? Lol. Kal-bi is a winnah. I like to order the combo plate w/ Meat Jun and Spicy Chicken, then top it off with a Yook Gae Jang (beef tofu spicy soup w/ cabbage and tofu). Kim Chi pancake and Fried zucchini is the plates we share together. Each plate gets 4 choices of ban chan veggies, tofu, mac salad, etc. for your sides. I have ordered online and the online process is pretty fast and user friendly.

I haven’t eaten there due to skepticism; on the contrary, the aroma of the place was amazing, the food was on-point, the customer service was great, and i will be returning, definitely a must stop if you are in the waianae area and don’t feel like driving to kapolei for mouth-watering bbq. also the mac salad was immaculate, and not mushy like most places. Love that !Kid-friendliness: Definitely my kids loved the food also, they love meats, specifically steak

Food: Let me start off my complimenting the food. Food is always the number one thing when eating at a restaurant. I personally ordered the house combo b and it was delicious, but I did deduct a star because the vegetable sides were not as fresh as I thought it could have been. The choy sum and bean sprouts were missing that crunch and tasted a few days old. It was also warm. One of my biggest pet peeves is that if something is supposed to be cold it should be cold and added in right before it's served to the customer. The Mac salad was "ehh"... it tasted warm again and it tasted like it was made with miracle whip. The good thing about the plate was the BBQ Chicken, BBQ beef, and the meat jun. This were all sooo tasty! The meat jun sauce is what makes everything and it was A1! According to my husband, the fried rice was good but it lacked that spicy kimchee flavor. My friend who had the kimchee jun plate also said it could have been a little more spicy, but the sauce made it super good.Service:The service was excellent. The lady who took our order was super nice and patient. I think her manager or the owner saw that it was getting busy and came up front to help out which I thought was really great of him to do. He could tell we were eating there and he served us our food. One thing that def stood out to me was he noticed we had kids and he took the initiative and gave us little plates and extra forks and spoons for them. Ambience:The restaurant is actually big inside. A lot of room andspacious. From what I could see it was clean. Overall I would dine here again! If I'm ever craving Korean food I may just have to take a drive to the west side
