We stopped here for lunch after visiting Akaka Falls. The lunch specials were a good value, especially compared to the prices at the Beach resort where we are staying near Kona. I got the Szechuan eggplant, which included hot and sour soup, spring roll, crab Rangoon, and white rice. It was not too spicy. My dad got the fish and vegetable lunch special and egg drop soup which he enjoyed. My husband ordered the beef and asparagus dinner size and said it was tasty. My mother ordered the steamed fish dinner size. The rice was not included with the dinner portions, so it was an additional charge for their rice. They also offered a pot of hot tea on the house which my dad thought was delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Meals aren't complete like you think they would be. You order orange chicken... You get orange chicken... No fried rice in the side, no soup or egg roll.. everything is ala cart. Soups don't come with wontons like you would think. Make sure to ask for them if you want crispy wontons in your soup. I mean EVERYTHING IS ALA CART. No egg rolls. Only spring rolls. Food is ok but make sure you literally request everything you want to eat, don't assume anything comes with the order... It doesn't.

If you want some American Chinese food at really affordable price, I highly recommend this place. Their food are not fancy or taste like traditional Chinese but they are not going for those things. We ordered hot and sour soup, orange chicken, Szechuan eggplant, mapo tofu, and deep fried butterfly prawns. Highly recommend the butterfly prawns, and mapo tofu. Also make sure you come during lunch time so you can order the lunch specials.

I'd give them 6 stars except for their tendency to overcook the vegetables in their takeout orders. Dining in they're cooked to perfection. The crispy gee gau is tasty and never too greasy. We love the spare ribs and Singapore noodles and salt and pepper anything! They have the best wontons. Service can be slow but online ordering is a breeze.

The reviews were all really good so we were excited to go. We tried to order 1 plate with brocilli beef and orange chicken with chow mein but they said we couldn't order that and had us order much more than we wanted. He charged us for 2 plates of orange chicken, broccoli beef, chow mein, white rice, won tons, ehhrolls and soup. We ended up spending much more money than we anticipated and got way more food than we wanted and most of it got wasted and then the food that we wanted didn't even taste right. The chow mein tasted really old and had a texture like it was from the previous day and reheated and the beef was nearly white. I'm not sure if these really good reviews are from the owner of the store but they don't match the experience

I just ordered a shrimp fried rice for take out from here so this review is purely based on that one dish. I have been to places where a even simple fried rice gets messed up but not this one so very happy for that.

Really pleased with the amount of food quality and price. We got lunch special ans so much for for 11$! They also did my sweet and sour tofu. Wish we lived closer. Took it over to anuenue playground like 2 minutes away and kids were in heaven.

We had dinner here 10 years ago and liked it so well we made it a point to eat here again on this year's trip to Hawaii. This is the best Chinese food we have ever had! Portions are huge and prices very very reasonable. Make this a stop for lunch or dinner and get away from crummy overpriced resort food.

Driving back from the Volcano to Kohala Coast. It was getting late and we were getting hungry. Couldn't get a reservation and walk-ins were becoming slim. Drove by a shopping plaza and saw Jade Palace. Thank goodness they had a table for us! We ordered dinner for 4. It came with your choice of Hot & Sour or Egg Drop Soup, and for appetizer you can have Crispy Wonton, Spring Roll or Crab Rangoon. Then we each picked an entree. Wow! Delicious food! Everything came out fast and everything tasted great! We ordered: Egg Drop Soup - good flavor and I love the peas and corn in the soup. Crab Rangoon - crispy and not greasy. Tastes good. General Chicken - I like that it had a little heat. Sweet and Sour Pork - big chunks of pork with good crunch, even though it had a lot of sauce. Salt and Pepper Fish - The fish tasted fresh. Not overly battered. Beef with Vegetables - I like the flavor of the gravy. Good assortment of veggies! I love how crispy everything is. And nothing was greasy. This is worth a try when in Waimea.

Fast service and decent selection of Chinese food. Oxtail soup with saimin noodles is a winner. Some items are super consistent over the years: black pepper squid, hot d&p skillet, egg foo young... orange chicken is spot on if you want something sweet.

Pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. My family ate inside for early dinner and food was very tasty! They had the best string beans with minced pork dish I had! Better than most places I've eaten in Mainland! Service was also very quick which is rare in the Big Island. Highly recommended!
