Had their lemon chicken mini recently. The chicken double fried. Very dry, dry, dry. Beyond dry. More like chicken jerky. Very disappointed. The sauce was to thin. Otherwise, the rice and Mac Salad was ok. Service was fine. Oops. Delete this review, wrong shop. Meant for Waimea on Kauai.

They serve breakfast as well as the everyday faire of food. I had the French toast for my early breakfast one day and the chili spaghetti on a separate night visit. The Chili needs a little more flavor because it is fairly bland with no heat at all. Just some salt would help.Parking: Shared lot with other businesses .

I ordered grilled fish plate today. I was suprised by the small portion of the fish they gave. curious how they cut the fish into a such thin slice! There are literally two pieces of lettuce. It's way too expensive for the food. Will not recommend to anyone.
Honestly thoroughly enjoyed my multiple visits here. A real taste of Hawaii and great service to go along with it. The atmosphere is authentic and comfortable.

Miss this place very much. Used to eat here at least once every weekend for the three years I got to live on Big Island. Service is great and food better! My favorite was breakfast of kalua pork omelette and white rice!

The service is prompt & they have healthy options for brown rice, tossed salad, or no starch..Kid-friendliness: They offer mini plates for anyone who does not eat a full size plate. How this place has less than 4 stars is beyond my comprehension. The line was out the door and it lasted all of 5 minutes. this small shop handles lots of business efficiently. not to mention the musubi is unbeatable. I pride myself in making some pretty decent musubi at home, but the ones at this location blow mines out of the water.
