Wear loose fitting pants, as you won't want to stop eating! Do a combo plate to try a few things. The guava chicken is heavenly. Don't miss the opportunity to buy Aunty Kanai's teriyaki sauce to take home. I'm from Hawaii but live on the mainland. Each time we come back, we make a point of stopping and enjoying some of the best food on the Big Island.
We were craving a plate lunch and surprisingly we were having a hard time finding one. We stumbled upon On Top of Mauna Kea Food Truck at a local market we drove by and we are so glad we did! We got the Guava Teriyaki and Pork Teriyaki and both were delicious. The service was just as great. Would highly recommend!
