Typical Starbucks and all that comes with that fact. Staff was friendly as to be expected with the constant line of customers at this location. However, the drink took longer than I would have expected and was honestly the worst Carmel macchiato I have ever had from Starbucks, and I've had plenty. I usually stop at this location at least once every trip to the island, but not sure that I will after this experience. Hoping it was just a one off miss-made drink. I was already in the car and down the road before I realized the drink wasn't tasting right, and not just needing to be mixed up.

Sorry- supposed to be WAIKOLOA location. The guy with the mask always on (don’t care either way about masks, btw) is always grumpy and sometimes gets drinks wrong (not always, sometimes they are yummy).Everyone else is super friendly and goes above beyond!Parking: Sometimes stup1d fahkahs like park in front of the walkway (even though there’s takeout parking literally 2 meters away) like they own the world.Doesn’t affect Starbucks workers or quality though- just shows the type of m0r0ns out there these days.Wheelchair accessibility: It is!

Always relaxed, never packed. I sit. I sip. I charge up my phone. I travel on to my destination via the Heleon bus.

Visiting for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised at how this location felt more like a local coffee shop than a corporate chain. A cheerful girl was ready to take my order immediately and was happy to help me decide what to get, while a chipper young man got my frappaccino ready right away. Definitely a local vibe, with the kupuna relaxing and talking story. And my Java Chip Frap with a double shot of mint sure hit the spot! Mahalo to all the kind, hard working folks at this location!

They have rude and unhelpful baristas and slow service. Drinks and food are not worth it. Done! Going somewhere else.

Yes it is foolish to go to Starbucks instead of to a local cafe with 100% Kona coffee while on the Big Island but we were in a rush! This Starbucks location had excellent service, fresh coffee, and was at a great location. But yes if you're in Hawaii, especially if you're on the Big Island definitely hit up your local cafes for that 100% Kona coffee. Altitude and climate for Kona coffee creates that famous smooth fragrant coffee experience you won't want to miss.

Purchased a bottle of water that was $2.62 I paid with Apple Pay as I'm headed back to Hilo town I got a notification from my credit card on my phone [5-10min after I left] that I was charged $7.62 for a bottle of water. I called the store immediately and asked why, the woman on the phone said I would have to come back with my receipt which I was never asked if I needed one for my purchase she then said about how long ago and I told her no 5-10min she said she found the receipt and it showed that I added a $5 gratuity on the bill that I never authorized she then asked the manager what to do and he voided the whole transaction. I haven't seen this transaction removed from my card yet. I don't feel safe ever going to this Starbucks again. I've

They greet you with a Happy Smile as soon as you enter...that’s how you draw your internal customers to come back?

This Starbucks is a vibe. Like most Starbucks that many of us have been to has all the normal things, but I think it’s just Waimea (Kamuela town) that makes it that much better. On a cold morning or when the early evening chill starts to set in, it’s a great spot to grab your drink, sit and meet up with friends. It’s also very centrally located in Waimea, so easy to find and get to!
