We love Subway so when we found this one we were eager to try for a quick lunch. The food wasn't uniform as in Virginia. I always order the same so a little disappointed at the apparent difference in taste. The service was average at best.

This is my go to in Waimea since Ishihara closed down. It's quick, convenient and filling. The management keeps the place very clean. Probably the cleanest Subway on island. The staff is very friendly and professional and in my experience the food has always been fresh and good. No complaints.

First thing I noticed when walking in was there's a TON of flies around, food is uncovered and exposed and I watched flies land on stuff....Also the meat that was out on my sandwich was questionable looking...Also quite stingy with the toppings. They really need to step up their fly control game because it's gross to think what they landed on when I wasn't here. Wouldn't come here again until they deal with the flies.

What a quaint and cute subway location! The staff were so kind and friendly; seemed to have fun together and enjoy working there. This place is very clean and everything was crispy fresh! Best subway sandwich I've had in a long time. Highly recommend this location!

This wasn't my first but it will be my last!!!Last week Monday 10/04 in the evening I came into Subway to order a meal the employee (A)who was assisting another customer (A)was so loud and rude, though they were tourists customer service is #1 priority and then again back in September didn't realize it was almost closing soon a whole bunch of guys before me ask the employee(A) they needed 2 order more sandwiches she refused LIKE REALLY!!!Begging-until he mentioned given her$ tip Took her in a split second to accept tip..WOW!!!!!

Very irritated. Ordered online the “Cali” Steak and it was advertised with guacamole. Picked up my order and there wasn’t any guacamole in it. They weren’t even busy i was the only one there when i went in…And they forgot the main thing that was advertised on the sandwich. Really guys? I paid for a limited time item and didn’t even get what was advertised.

We stopped there on the way to Waimea Canyon. There was a sign on the door that said only two people were permitted in the store at a time, presumably because of COVID. There were two people already in the store so we waited our turn to enter the store. After 5 minutes or so, a customer came out and my girlfriend went in to start her order. After the other customer came out, I went in to wait my turn to order. While we were waiting two other people walked into the store. The woman working at Subway didn't ask them to wait outside. So much for the store respecting the COVID restrictions. Then another person walked in. Now we had five customers in a store that is only suppose to have two customers in it. Another person that worked at Subway came out and took the order of the person behind me. I thought she took that person's order because my girlfriend and I were together and the same employee was suppose to make both of our orders. After my girlfriend's sandwich was made , I tried to give the younger woman my order and she said that I had to go to the end of the line. Unbelievable. I was there first, the other people weren't even allowed to be in the store, and the Subway employee is now telling me I have to wait until the three people that arrived after me were waited on. Needless to say, I did not wait. I will be reporting this behavior to the owner of the store, Subway corporation and the Hawaiian board of health (or whoever oversees compliance with COVID restrictions). The younger employee was rude, unapologetic and if I owned this business I would fire her.

Very friendly. I was in need of a restroom. They helped me out and then chatted with me while I waited for my ride to come back with my wallet so I could make a purchase for using the restroom.
