I don't recommend the lemongrass chicken sandwich. It's more like a gravy chicken sandwich. Not like the other Ba-Le Shops which I love!

My go to for that chicken sandwich on croissant bread! Don't forget dessert, I get the layered rainbow jello!

This location so super convenient, given the fact that they are located in Don Quijote's food court area. It's a place that I mostly go to after doing some grocery shopping, when my hunger starts to kick in. There's something about Bale's Banh Mi sandwiches that always hits the spot. Regardless of the protein, the flavors are all consistent and portioned. Aside from that, their spring rolls or lumpia are always warm and has the crunch to it. My favorite sandwiches are the lemongrass chicken or the roast beef on croissant bread. I love how its a family business and the husband and wife work together o complete the orders. Sometimes they can get super busy but it is definitely worth the wait. It just goes to show how good their food is.

Located inside Don Quixote's food court area. Currently, no dine in and is take out only. I tried their combination Bahnmi (Ba-Le Special) which consists of pate, steamed pork and other deli meat like ham and a blended mocha drink with no boba (I know right?). The Combination Bahn Mi is a little pricy and the flavors and textures were ok in my opinion. There was also a lot of pate in my sandwich which is too much for my liking, I just wish there was more steamed pork. For the blended mocha drink, it barely had any taste due to the mocha and ice ratio. I think there is a reason why it comes with boba. May not get again, but will try other flavors. Customer service is average, they are very attentive and are really quick to get your order out.

Yummy! Great place and definitely a great way to support local! They are a small business with a great work ethic and great food! Keep up the great work Bale!

Mango boba was good! Veggie Banh mi was good but wanted more veggies. It was actually kind of tight. Located in Don Quiote Waipahu.

I've been coming to this location (in Waipahu Don Quijote) for years and they've always been consistent with their food and customer service. It's a very nice couple who runs this franchise. I usually get the chicken croissant sandwich and spring rolls. I've tried the pho, various plate lunches, and have tried their banana, coconut, and taro tapioca. For drinks, their iced coffee will really give you the extra caffeine kick. Their prices have always been reasonable. Last time I went was back in June 2021. Their hours changed because of Covid and it's only cash here.

6-2-21 one of our favorite go-to restaurants in the Mililani Shopping Center. I usually place the order by phone so pick up is fast and easy. If the weather is chilly or if I feel like I need comfort food the beef or chicken pho is great. Fur baby likes the shredded chicken too. I always add on beef balls cuz I add it to the broth and the texture is sink your teeth into it hearty. It comes with lemon wedge, greens to add to the top, bean sprouts(hubs gets it all) and two containers- hoisin and sriracha. Adds a bit of sweetness and heat. If we just want a meal we get lemongrass chicken plate. Hubs gets it with rice and on mine rice is nada. In the past I'd add cans of coconut juice or Thai tea. If you have a sweet tooth and like desserts they have palmiers, flavored pudding like options in sealed cups. There are many more items on their menu like bahn mi, summer rolls, and more plates with beef, shrimp and more. If they had side orders of thinly sliced onions or tendon I'd add the last star.

Ordered a couple of Bale Special banh mi. Well, three because they're that good, lathered with mayo, butter, stuffed with headcheese, pate, ham, pork, pickled vegetables, cucumber, cilantro in toasted crunchy french breads, oh yum! If you want a softer bread, you can choose a toasted, buttery, flaky crossant sandwich! We also ordered a lemongrass chicken banh mi which part of the french bread was soaked in it's delicious tasty chicken sauce! Two orders of beef and meatball pho with bean sprouts and basil. Pho soup, no matter what the weather, hits the spot! Their shrimp summer rolls are of good size, fresh shrimp and refreshing. Dip the rolls in either fish sauce or peanut sauce. I've had their delicious crispy pork chops several times before and they are tasty, finger licking good! Their tapioca desserts and banana spring rolls are yummy as well! The bosses are super friendly, foods are produced quickly and they are opened every day! Support this local small business! You will be wanting to return for more of their delicious foods!
