We found this place on our way to the north shore via costco (for food pickup, totally worth it since u get a fair bit of Hawaiian local stuff there)Had the heart attack loco loco and shared it with my partner. was delicious, the beef brisket was smoky and a tad bit better than the pork belly. the combination was excellent and just enough gravy to make it a potent combo. We also got caramelized onions with it, worth it, should have also added the sautéed mushrooms (bot are an additional $, but worth the add).It's a small hole in the wall, but so so worth it. Just had a plate from ted's, and this was 10x better if not more

Decided to stop by since I was doing something in the area. Delicious food, solid price, fantastic portions, and a friendly staff. Limited seating, but wasn’t too busy during lunch for me to sit down. Definitely worth swinging by for food.

12-28-23 ended up here when we couldn't find parking at Highway Inn. Looked quickly on Yelp and it was 1 minute away and had at least 4 stars. At first sight it reminded me of eateries in a third world country. Two in our group went down to order our take out. One told me there were flies and a zapper in the kitchen. Wonder how it got a green pass. I texted let's leave but the order was already put in. Sad experience tsk tsk they didn't hear one of our orders so one person had no lunch. We came home with only one steak and mushroom with Mac salad. Verdict: just okay. The garlic chicken order was tender, no crunch to the coating. It tasted a little sweet and not garlicky at all. The place may be a neighborhood favorite but my eyebrows were raised. I personally would not come back.

Absolutely phenomenal food, decided to try it on a whim. My wife and I have been craving it ever since! Portions are great for the price and the flavor is amazing! Best Mac salad I’ve had the 4 years I’ve been on island! Don’t skip over them!

Good find! I had the shoyu ginger ahi and it was great. Came out quick too. Will be coming back!Parking: The place is on your left after the light. I parked to the right and walked across the street, but there’s spots on the left behind the building.

I own a automotive detail shop In Waipahu and buy lunch for my workers here just about every day The food is always fresh and delicious Service is quick just call in your order and pick it up in 10-15 min I have been eating here for while and everything I tried on the menu is ono I highly recommend checking this place out

This is a little hole in the wall place but the food hits the spot. The bbq grills and smokers outside are a give away though that the food is winners! Staff is nice too. You can tell that they're always busy if you call but whenever I ask for the specials or ask if I can mix some stuff around in my plate, they are always accommodating. Ahi katsu with greens, Mac salad, and extra rice is my go to but I also like their garlic shrimp scampi and steak plate.

Awesome Food, if you're big on smoked brisket. Steamed fish is ono too. Garlic fries need to eat right away before gets soggie. Brisket n over easy eggs the best!
