The "California burrito" had no avocado, No beans no rice no salsa and not spicy. is basically just ground steak with french fries. I grew up in California and I've never had a burrito like that! They have to rename it something else. I had better luck with the quesadilla birria was much better. Or be sure to specify what you want in your burrito.

Tried this place a few times over the last 5 years or so, and the chicken burritos are so salty. At first I thought it was a bad day for them, but I guess that's how they do it. Too salty for me.

Located in back of the coach store in the upper waikele outlet stores parking lot, decided to buy food from this truck since I was buying from another truck read the reviews and the farmer's market was dwindling in food tents, but I wasn't too impressed. California beef burrito - 3.5 stars - for $17, it had ground beef, fries and other items. It was pretty big and loaded, and although a little bland, the fries added in gave it a special twist. Enchilada plate - 3.5 stars - for $16 I got 2 enchiladas that were made to order, and not liking a lot of salt, was flavored just right, but the beans were salty. The rice was ok. Service - 4 stars only because the wait is long because there were 4 people before us, and it took more than 15 minutes just to order, then another 15 minutes for the food to be ready for pick-up. The food truck cashier/server was very friendly, talkative and nice. Lots of parking since it is located at the waikele premium outlets upper parking area.

They used to be really good when authentic Mexicans owned this truck now it’s owned by someone new and it’s the worst food truck I’ve ever been too. Nothing is cooked everything is pre bought then slapped together beans out of a can, wet tasteless rice just horrible. Don’t eat here!!! (don’t say you weren’t warned) enchiladas didn’t even sauce!! I wouldn’t feed my dog this.

Food truck is located in the corner of Waikele Shopping Center. They offer mexican cuisine and had to check it out to take a break from our shopping. I highly recommend getting their carne asada torta because not only it is flavorful, but it is large considering the value. The price can be off-putting, but I think it is worth it to try their other items.

Was getting my car tinted and this taco place was nearby, had to try it out! Tacos definitely delicious and the SALSA was amazing! Got the Al Pastor and it was a lot softer than the others I've had. It was a little weird that it didn't come with cilantro and onions (had to order that separately then add it on myself) but no complaints, it was amazing and I'll definitely be back!

Went on 26 Dec for lunch after doing post Christmas shopping. Fiance ordered the Carne Asada Fries and was a bit disappointed. The fries started off pre oily and soggy. When fried food comes out like that, it is a restult of the fry oil not being hot enough.Digging through the carne asada fries, you can find fries at the bottom that did not have any sauce but were still almost slimy from the amount of oil on them.

The el jalisciense mexican food experience was kinda disappointing. The customer service wasn't that great because the lady is always on her phone. The taco combo is not worth it - the rice is all old/mushy and overcooked, and the taco (look at the pic!) doesn't look good at all. They only put 1 tortilla per taco (should be 2) and you cannot pick it up lol. And don't even get me started on those canned beans - they're just plain boiled beans from a can. Save your money, folks!

This spot is legit and glad it's close to home! Ordered their California burrito and their Carne asada fries. They don't skimp on the portion. I swear the burrito felt like it weighed 3 lbs lol. So good and it totally hit the spot!
