Super delicious malasadas! Hands down the original and best on island. We used to like their original, plain malasadas a lot but once they came out with the ones with filling, I was definitely head over heels in love with those. My favorite is the custard or lilikoi filling. Even those the fillings are sweet, it somehow seems to almost balance out the sugariness of the pastry! A super yummy and awesome treat. Not too oily either, and their service is as fast as can be for making fresh malasadas!

Terrible employees and absolutely disgusting food handling practices. Absolutely do not go here unless you want hairy Malasadas. We ended up throwing them out due to hair in the box. Grade F Now sure how they were passed on the health/food safety.

Very fresh malasadas. Amazing texture and smell right out of the fryer. Not as sweet as the ones and Aulani, and I actually liked them less. Must eat while still warm, they ending travel well. Preferred the plain ones to the other flavor options.

I think it's probably always made the same way, but when I ate it this time it was better than 6 years ago! ! This store is located in a corner of Waikele Outlet Mall, where many catering trucks are lined up. Everyone is standing and eating!

Leonard's was a must on our trip to Oahu and we were planning to go to their storefront, but had to pull over when we saw their food truck after doing the lighthouse hike. There was a short line and in less than 10 mins we had a box full of deliciousness. The prices were pretty equivalent to donuts, but these were amazing. They were crunchy, warm and very filling. We ordered 8 and they lasted our family of four the whole day. We ate 4 right away and then ate the rest after snorkeling at Queens beach and they were still great hours later. I think the storefront is still fun to go to, but the food truck is also a great option if you're not near Waikiki

This food truck seems so unassuming, then you take a bite of the Malasada, and know what it feels like to be royalty! The Malasadas are so delicious and fresh.

Delicious malasadas are always freshly made and taken out at a food truck-like restaurant in Waikele ♥This time I bought a box ♥Freeze it in the freezer ♥I put it in my suitcase and took it home ?

Amazing, fresh malasadas from this famous place! Honestly, I would stick to a classic one -- tried the kind stuffed with chocolate as well and it was basically filled with chocolate pudding rather than the kind of chocolate I was expecting (not exactly sure what I was expecting, but maybe something a bit denser or perhaps something like the kind of sauce you would dip a beignet or churro in). The only mistake you can make is waiting too long to eat it -- they are best right away!

Everytime i order here its always wrong. I always order custard with no sugar and ended up giving no sugar no custard. The last time i ordered also it wasn't cooked thoroughly.

Great food. I've never had these before they kinda remind me of cream filled donuts. They were served fresh and quick. The main gripe is that spending $2-$3 for each single one is very pricey. But worth trying a few they are tasty.

My 4th trip to the beautiful Island. You have to have a Malasada or 2 or 3 from Leonards.

This is a kitchen truck (wagon truck) from Leonard's Bakery, a long-established and popular malasada shop. There was one group waiting at the time of visit at 10:00am.You can buy them right away, they're fresh and piping hot, and each donut costs less than $2. At a donut shop in Waikiki, each donut costs about $4 ( ˊᵕˋ ;)I bought 6 pieces of each type and ate them on the spot with my family. It's Myers.I think I should have bought more.

There is almost no difference in coming to this mobile pop up Leonard's and the original bakery near Waikiki. I prefer this location because it has a more spacious parking lot and you can also order food from other food trucks. The hours of operation displayed on this cart does not match the hours on its website. They open at 7:00 am. The food is to-go only, so no ambiance score. It is nearby other food trucks which is helpful if you like cheap food options.

It was super good. Especially when they were hot.

The malasadas are always fresh! They are busy throughout the day and sometimes the line is very long but it usually goes by quickly. The staff members are not too talkative but they're polite and are always smiling. There's ample parking within the vicinity.
