This place deserves NO stars! Made a phone order, I was told 5-10min pick up. Sat in there for 30min and watched everyone leave. Questioned them and was told I have to remind them. I told the lady that wasn’t my job and she said “Well, what do you want me to do?”ZERO customer service. ZERO quality. ZERO organization.

This is our families go to place for Korean food in our district. We enjoy the vegetables choices because it's well seasoned. We like the flavor of their Kalbi, Spicy pork, bbq beef, and others. The service of the workers are pretty much on it, they move their long lines quickly. There shop is clean when walking in, and when we do eat in the tables are clean.

The food here is always good, but the service on the other hand is terrible! I come here often and nearly every time I try to call, they don't answer. But when they do, they always have an attitude, one time the lady even raised her voice. I understand that it can get busy and stressful but the employees need to practice not taking out whatever anger they have on the customers! I have even heard them complain in store to each other when the phone rings and they just ignore it! Because of the service this location would normally get 1 star, but despite the employees the food is still delicious thus the 2nd star. Also, don't bother ordering online, it almost always doesn't work either. A notice just pops up saying "Order can not be placed!"

02/27/23 located in Waipahu this place been my to go to for Korean plate lunch and party orders. They are not too stingy on the veggies and their portion are pretty reasonable that I have no complaints thus far. Staff is nice and restaurant is clean. Ordered a small pan of kalbi, small pan of meat jun, and medium size veggies. Got to pick 4 side choices. Flavor of food is good and just how I remember it. Happy eats!!

Definitely a go to whenever I'm in town. Their portions are huuuuuge!! They are not stingy especially with their veggies. Depending on how you love your banchans, this can be a good or a bad thing. We recently ordered their bibim kook soo and the noodles to veggies ratio was little. They put more veggies than noodles. Wish it was the opposite but still, the flavor of every item we've ordered including the banchans have been consistent. Price is decent and service is great!

I am really surprised about this Pearl's Korean BBQ located in the Waipahu Shopping Mall next to Longs. I have been to other Pearl's BBQ (Kapolei) I have to say this one surprised me. The place was very very clean..I have been to the one in Kapolei, and their restaurant was dusty and the floor was not so clean...This one in Waipahu was wiped down. The walls and counters were clean.The prices are still HIGH, but it's the price you pay for Korean Bbq. The prices are high due to rising costs of containers, staff shortages, and price of meats, fish and etc.. The food is still packed in your plate, and it's served hot, and fresh.I ordered the Fish Jun and the Meat Jun/Fish Jun combo plate..Here you choose your 4 sides and it comes with 2 scoops of rice ? plus your entree. You can share the plate ?️ because the food is really piled up.I really liked this Pearl's Korean BBQ place because, It was a clean restaurant, two the food looked really good, and the server was really nice. Price per plate is between $12-18 reasonable and you get your money ?? worth.

I ordered a bi bim bap and as I was mixing my food, I found a piece of hair that was in with the choy sum. Disgusting.

This place used to be cheaper but I guess with the way things are the prices had to go high. I believe the portions used to be bigger as well but maybe it's just me. You can't see it in the pic but there was the noodles under the meat jun. The food was good and its a go to meal when you have no idea what you want to eat. And be patient with the workers they seemed under staffed and they got a lot of frequent calls while I was waiting for my food.

I ordered meals to be delivered to my friend, the other food made it okay and my friend said it the food are great. However, the soup I ordered since they are feeling under the weather, leaked. The soup was put in a paper container and essentially will leak.
