Mini spareribs (boneless) plate was among their Thursday selections. Mini consists of a scoop of rice, Mac salad and brownie. All the spareribs and sauce smothered the rice, which you could barely see. The meal gets "mushy" if you don't eat it right away. But that's expected when the main dish isn't separated from the rice. The overall taste was good, nothing exceptional. They don't overpower their food with spices, salt or shoyu. The portion is generous; especially, for an $8.00 mini plate. You will have leftovers if you're a small eater. Scoopers is definitely worth the drive if you're looking for a good, plentiful meal at an exceptionally reasonable price.

Located in the industrial side of Waipahu. Minimal parking, take out only. This place is a hidden gem! The prices are beyond decent. Mini plate lunches are only $8!!! And mini is a huge understatement! I could barely finish a mini! Not only is the food the best price you'll ever get anywhere, but it is ono! The meat in the curry was a bit tough, but flavorful. Mac salad is awesome! Mushroom chicken was so good! Like homemade cooking good! The ranch is also homemade, not bottle hidden valley type. All plates come with a fudgy brownie. The best of all is the service! The lady is the nicest, kindest, friendliest person! She definitely serves aloha! Tip: you have to go early, like 9am cause they sell out FAST!

Sorry, no pictures this time, we all were hungry. So our whole office ordered lunch on Friday. The best thing to do is call the day before, so you just go to pick it up. They are super busy. So just be patient when you call to order. We ordered 5 plates 4 combos and one kalua pig and cabbage. first of all the combo plates came with a canned drink and a brownie for dessert. Also the combos were lau lau and teri burger which both were delicious. Another combo was lau lau and kalua pig, and the last one was shoyu chicken and teri burger. All were super delicious, full of flavor and we're looking forward to ordering again and tasting other items on their menu. This little gem was found in Waipahu only because we had ordered from the food trucks up at Mililani Tech Park and we saw the line to the Scoopers truck was super long, so we looked and found the Scoopers Kitchen and decided to try it.We definitely be back

Food: You want a home cooked meal feeling? This is it!!! Food was good! My daughter really like the mac salad and normally she doesn't eat that. Even better, it will also be good for one more meal! A fruitful portion indeed!!Service: A local lady helped us and she was very polite and friendly. She greeted my daughter! Not many places do that now days! She was nice and efficient!Hopefully you get there when they are not too busy or you will catch a line and parking can be weird. BUT the great thing is, for the most part, you are in and out!!!!
This place is sooo worth it! Such a good price for massive and delicious plate lunches! The mixed plate is worth it. Comes with a brownie and a drink. Such a deal for $13! They give so much food! Their laulau was sooo delicious and their kalua pig is homemade and had a great smoke flavor. Their mac salad is also homemade and tasted good. Their brownie and haupia were good to end the meal with. I couldn't finish the entire thing, so I had 2 meals from this plate lunch! Definitely give it a try because it's so worth it for the price!
