My favorite place to get my Thai food fix! Great customer service and excellent food. They offer an HGEA discount if you're a member. They have other food choices besides Thai that are just as delicious.

So I stumbled here. Wanting thai and ended up being a new Korean spot. They took over about a week or 2 ago. The best part, I've been looking for a Korean spot that served Jajangmyeon(chajang mein/black bean noodles) They are going to replace the Thai Kitchen sign soon. But damn, these noodles are on point. On top of that, when I finished the noodle, there was plenty of sauces and meat that they gave me a bowl of rice for the rest. I mixed it in and was full. Hella good. The menu ain't bad, they are starting so hopefully they can put more Korean food and drinks out. Also decorate and move around the set up since it similar to when it was Thai Kitchen. I'll write a review on here for the actual restaurant once they are fully up and running. Will definitely go back again and try other dishes. Hella worth it for the chajang

Just went to Thai Kitchen tonight and it is CLOSED. The sign is still there but underneath it is another sign that says Bipambap or something. Looked through the window and all of pictures that were once on the wall and most of the furnishings are all gone. Place was dark also. Hate to see it go.

This place seems to be no more. It is changing its name and remodeling. I am not sure if the new restaurant at this location will have the same owner. The new name is Bibimbap House so appears it will be Korean.

We came here one Friday night and the place was not that busy. In fact, we were the only ones there until a group of people started coming in. It looked like they were there for a party and they knew the owner. We ordered quite a bit of food, and with that food being spicy we drank a lot of water. The waitress did not refill our glasses even though she passed us several times looking at our table (it's not a big restaurant). Instead, she poured wine for the other party and even took her time setting up their table. It looked like a private personal party as the food items on their table were not from the menu and it did not appear that they ordered anything from a menu. We were tired, thirsty, and disappointed. We were there eating our spicy Thai food with very little to no water and the waitress just kept passing us by. I will never go to this place again I am surprised that they treat customers like this.

My brother and I are in the Waipahu area and decided to get lunch today here instead of the other Thai restaurant we were familiar with in Waipio Gentry. It was just about 11:30am when we walked into the slightly dim dining area (due to the dark privacy tint on the lower half of the front windows) etc.) we were nicely told to sit anywhere we wanted to. But before sitting down, I was taken back as there were signs for local style plate lunches besides Thai food. We sat within four feet of the large ceiling height window mounted a/c unit, yet it was not cool inside. Either the filter was dirty/clogged or they put the temperature at 74 or 76 degrees ---wasn't hot, but just that it was not cool--so it was overall all right. The owner/waitress (from reading other Yelp reviews) provided the two of us a large oversized menu with Thai food selections on one side and local plate lunch selections on the other. I told her if she was that person who advertised in FB Marketplace since I see the ads, and she said yes and thanked me for recognizing her ad. Anyway, she says her restaurant is not a 'real Thai Thai' since she also does local style plate lunches...I agree, as there is not that much Thai style décor within the restaurant which by the way had a large dining space. We order two portions of sticky rice $3/each, Pad Thai with Beef ($11.99) and Panang Curry with Chicken ($11.99). I asked after taking our orders what were the heat levels which she said there were four: mild, medium, Hot and Thai Hot. Told her we were ok with the medium heat (you need to go to Thai restaurants more than once as their heat levels may differ) and my brother also wanted to try the garlic shrimp local plate for $7.99 (because he read in Yelp that they were better than Giovanni's Shrimp truck) so he had to taste it for himself then take the rest of home. There were only one other table occupied and a couple of take out orders customers waiting. The wait was unusually long with our plates/napkins/ utensils coming around 10 minutes after ordering, then the rice in the woven fiber containers coming near the 20 minute mark. The rice came completely wrapped up in saran like clear plastic which had to be torn apart with a fork which was a first for me--- normally one end would be opened and I would just have to unwrap. The Panang Curry came a few minutes later, and I was kind of taken back at the small quantity of chicken in the bowl (looks like a small sized soup dish) with a small amount of chopped basil and peas. Upon putting the spoon into the dish, we saw that it was mainly soup surrounding the small mound that was in the middle of the plate. I wanted to wait until the Pad Thai come before eating but he wanted to start eating, so I did the same. The Pad Thai came roughly 30 minutes after the order. We weren't mad, just wondered why the long wait to receive it...I joked about where it was coming from before we finally got the dish. The Pad Thai dish was substantial and came with beef slices (where other places would put ground beef instead), so I like this place for the real beef portions along with crush peanuts, slice of lime and a small bit of red chili pepper flakes on the side. I think she was being cautious as she had heard that one of us didn't want it 'too spicy', even though I told her that we'd take the medium heat level. The Panang Curry was tasty with the coconut milk flavor coming through and not being overpowering, the sauce was good to pour onto the sticky rice ! If this was medium, then it was a little mild by my tastes (so remember, you need to go to Thai places more than once to try their heat levels as they differ from place to place). The Pad Thai I also liked as it too was very tasty--the type that you just want the food to linger in one's mouth for a while before swallowing completely..yummm. We talked a bit with the owner/waitress after receiving the bill and she told us that she made the panang curry just a little bit less than &

Recently went to the little restaurant, thinking they were a good hole in the wall since I just moved to the area and have been craving Thai food. First off, walked in and the menu had ZERO Thai entree's - only "Thai-ish" thing I saw was spring rolls - but they called it "Lumpia" which fit the restaurant better because their menu was Filipino infused. Ordered Lechon Kawali & it was by far the worst dish I've had in a long time. Also ordered pork spring rolls which defnitely were bad -_- Will not be going back.

Found Thai Kitchen on Facebook because they posted really ono looking food on there, decided to make the drive to Waipahu to check it out. Walked in, the place is clean, two ladies will greet you, the menu is dispalyed and you will have to order first before you sit down if you're eating in. We ordered the overload breakfast and I believe it's breakfast all day. See pic of overload breakfast. Also ordered pancit and adobo omelette, didn't eat it because I was full already. All types of payment accepted. There is a self serve station, water and condiments. Good upcoming place to eat at. Support local!

This place is actually across the parking lot by the laundry mat for in the other small shopping mall. I got the loaded breakfast cheap for a big load. Took me awhile to find it after making a Togo order.

I've heard about this place for a few months and finally had the chance to stop in. I came right at opening and was the only person in the restaurant. The owners greeted me immediately and let me sit wherever I wanted. The waiter was able to answer some questions I had about the menu and was prompt in getting my drink out. I really enjoyed the way he delivered the plates of food. He seemed professional and courteous and didn't hover over me the entire while I was eating which is a nice change. The papaya salad was exactly how I wanted it to be - Lao style with a touch of shrimp paste. The wonton soup was a nice balance and had a lot of flavor. I will be returning and trying more items on their menu.
