The pizza is fantastic but how the heck are y'all not opening until 4pm? Especially on weekends! Such a disappointment when you want that delicious crispy pan pizza at 1 in the afternoon.

Great service and great pizza. I worked at breadeaux in high school about 20 years ago and I'm happy to report the pizza is still as good as it ever was. If you are in the Altoona or Bondurant area give them a try and show them some love.

I happen to love the little area that this pizzaria is located in. Looks more like something out of the old west. Staff is very friendly and attentive. And the pizza is amazing. I don't go to Altoona often, but I usually stop here when I do.

I eat there at least once a week. Two deep dish for my family. Priced well, fresh ingredients, fast delivery. I wish they were opened earlier on the weekend, but it is my favorite in this area!! Can’t go wrong….

Pizza was fire but the breadsticks are super lame. Might as well as not even have them on the menu. Makes me question whether to come back or not. How can a place make such good pizza but horrible breadsticks? Pros and cons to breadeaux pizza.

I have order quite a few pizzas from here. This has to be some of the best pizza in the Des Moines Iowa area. There are a few others that are great too. I had the BLT pizza this last week that I ordered when I was at work. It tasted just like a BLT. Deep dish Taco is great. I was disappointed to find out that the Pleasant hill location does not carry all the combinations that the Altoona location has as I tried to order the BLT tonight and they had no idea what I was talking about. Best pizza in the Altoona area.

the photos looked amazing. and i wanted to like this place. the cheesy breadsticks were pretty good. i liked the mix of cheeses - and they were full of flavor. i ordered the thin crust pizza (vs round). it was awful. to quote my friend, "this tastes like leftover pizza they made yesterday." perhaps other items on the menu are better. but the thin crust sausage pizza is terrible. stick with the cheesy bread if you go here.

Had a round crust Hawaiian bacon pizza tonight and breadsticks. The pizza was okay. The ingredients were good and had nice flavor.Although I wasn’t a fan of the bacon crumbs that was used unfortunately. It seemed different to me and I didn’t care for it.The pizza sauce could use some work, and didn’t have much flavor. and there wasn’t much pizza sauce on the pizzaThe crust was dull and flavorless. The cheesy breadsticks weren’t bad but not great.I figured I would try this place and I’m glad I tried it at least. I’m not sure if I will be back though as it was it a bit lack luster.

One of Iowa’s numerous small city great culinary secrets are the unique independent Breadeaux Pizza shops. Oskaloosa in South East Iowa has a great one. The chain began decades ago selling its ‘French Style’ pizzas ?. It has prospered on their unique tasty combinations that delight the senses. We think their square pan pizzas are what has resulted in 10 visits in 2022 for us. Faves are the square Canadian Bacon and Onion, as well as their Bratworst Pizza! RECOMMENDED.
Great pizza and food, didn't take long for them to make, definitely recommend!

Was a lil disappointed this go around. I went in to order bc it was on a whim that I decided to get food from there and I stood there waiting 15 minutes before anyone came to counter to ask me if I had an order to pick up or if I needed to order, the lil gal was very rude and on top it all she put my order in wrong.... Then wanted to argue with me... Wish the older staff were still there for the great service they use to provide!

We’ve ordered Breadeaux a few times every month since we moved to Altoona two years ago. The delivery is always within the hour and the pizza and cheese breadsticks are hot and delicious. Always hits the spot and with picky eaters that’s a must! It’s nice to have something so close that we can count on every time-thank you!

It is hard to believe the ratings for the pizza here. Our small pizza was terrible. It tasted like it was frozen and stale. The meat on the salad was brown. Lettuce was shredded.

PLEASE go back to original crust. There was nothing like the original. Still very good pizza, but going back to the original would make this the best pizza in Iowa hands down.
