Had to update my review after going through the drive through a couple of days ago and purchasing a turtle pecan blizzard. It was definitely NOT a blizzard. It was a thin chocolate milk shake with some pecans and hard chocolate pieces.

Lobby closed at 8:00, had to drive thru, even though website said they were open. Blizzard was lacking fruit, ordered strawberry & pineapple, there wasn't hardly any strawberries in it. Could only taste the pineapple. Very disappointing.

I ordered a Cookie dough blizzard and received a blizzard that just has chocolate chunks and no cookie dough. Was kinda bummed out when I realized way to far away to drive back.

We ordered two chicken strips meals and a cheeseburger meal. The chicken was overcooked and tasted like fish (overused fryer oil perhaps?), the burger bun was cold to the touch and the Texas toast was un-buttered and just barely toasted. We have eaten these meals at numerous other dairy queen locations and this one fell far, far below the standard.

Decided to try this place again. Asked about a senior citizen discount and was told it's for 65 or older....give me a break. Try training these know-nothing cashiers before putting them in front of the public. Also aren't hair coverings required?

The blizzard was good. I was hoping to benefit from the. 85 cent blizzard offer. No Bananas! Employer told me I probably had to be a first time user on the app. I don't believe this is true. This was very disappointing ?

Packed as expected on a scorcher in Ames. Tons of kids, from little guys to the university crowd. Service was as good as can be with the rush to cool off. I love the options and the quality is always top notch. Parking is always tricky, but be patient and you'll find a spot.

Went in. Ordered a medium caramel shake as well as two single patty burgers. Got charged for two doubles and was given a coffee milkshake. I didn’t notice until we drove away. Person taking my order had a annoyed look and just bothered. Never offered a receipt.

This location was very busy when we were there due to the Iowa Games. The staff managed it well. I was disappointed that my blizzard was very liquidy due to them just changing the soft serve mix. I think they should have let it rest in the machine longer. My blizzard definitely would not have passed the upside down or it's free test....
