We were disappointed with the choices and quality. We had blondies and chocolate chunk bars, and both were dry and did not seem fresh.

I love their superman ice cream. My fiance and I would come here late at night to get their ice cream and cookies, which were always super warm and delicious! Recommend 10/10

The lady working there didn’t give me the correct amount I was owed back, she was white wearing a beanie so I couldn’t see her hair color so beware a count your due amount!.

I've been here a few times, and the cookies are always good. Employees are friendly, but it's a very small place, so it can get a bit cramped if there's more than 4 or 5 customers. Love that it's open late!

The classic cookies were hard and stale. The jumbo ones were warm and tasty.

Super fun cookie shop! ? Handy that it's open late - I like getting treats after a night exam but everywhere else is always closed. Cookies and ice cream are both sold here and it makes it fun to mix and match. 4 stars because the Cookies themselves aren't anything exceptional.

I tried to get a coupon that I had been emailed and sadly the Ames location is very lazy and refuses to put in the work to give customers what they are promised. I’m extremely disappointed with my visit to insomnia today.

Absolutely obsessed with their white chocolate chip macadamia cookies!

I stopped her twice during my recent stay in Iowa City. I enjoyed bringing my cookie purchases back the hotel for both an evening snack and a starter (with coffee) in the morning. I found the cookies to be very tasty, fresh, and a bit pricey. I stuck with the "basic" choices at $2.25 each and passed on the $3.75 deluxe options.

I ordered cookies for my son's bday. I actually didn't even know about Insomnia Cookies until I saw it on Google while I was looking for Crumbles hours. I found the website very easy to use so I ordered 12 cookies. I got a text shortly before my pickup time and it said if I want curbside pickup to call. So I called and the girl who was working, I think her name was Elizabeth, told me that she was the only one working and she couldn't leave the store unattended. I told her it was fine and I'd be there shortly. I ended up having to call her again because I couldn't find the place. When I pulled up she was waiting outside for me with my cookies. She told me that some of the cookies had just came out of the oven and were still warm. So between the great customer service and how delicious the cookies were, I definitely will order from them again!

I remember when Insomnia Cookies came to this spot on Welch Avenue when I was at Iowa State University. It was a welcome addition to the area - I always enjoyed a sweet treat late at night, both on the weekends and sometimes on the odd night in the middle of the week. On a return trip to campus for recruiting for my company, I had the same craving late on a Wednesday and decided to satisfy it at Insomnia Cookies. The interior was what I remember it being - a small receiving area for people to order, a counter to receive the orders, and a bathroom off to the side. I opted for a sugar cookie. It was as good as I remember it being - warm, sweet, and filling. If Insomnia Cookies came to the Quad Cities, I'd probably be visiting too frequently. If I get back to ISU again, I'll probably be visiting here again late in the evening. Thanks, Insomnia Cookies!

Great tasting homemade feel gluten free cookies. They only have that option so it's nice but wish they had more so I could justify the price and come more often. Didn't get a picture because it made its way to my stomach before I could. If you don't have a gluten allergy I definitely recommend it. Another perk though is they are open really late at night so that's convenient for late night cravings.
