Chips and salsa are fantastic! Salsa has a nice kick to it too! Tacos are absolutely the best, they're full of meat and veggies and definitely worth every penny when it comes to flavor! If you're looking for a great dinner swing through here as they have the best Mexican food in the city!! Definitely worth the stop! Taco Tuesday you can get 4 tacos for $5!!!

Was kind of confused how to get in there's no signage at the entrance of the restaurant.Service was ok once you got served you pretty much never see them again. Food was good but it really depends on what you order I ordered chile relleno not what I expected but I'm from Arizona it was definitely different. But on a different occasion I ordered a red chili burrito enchilada style rice and beans was good.

I really like this place. Was surprised when I went today that it had a new name, Margaritas Sports Bar. Same good menu, food, and service!

Under a new name, not sure if management is the same. No alcohol allowed yet but the food was pretty decent. Waitress came over once to check on us, they were not busy. Will check them out again in a few weeks to see how it's going.

One of my favorites in Ames. The food is consistently good and prices fair. They always give such great service and are so sweet to our kids. Thanks!Kid-friendliness: Great service and always sweet to our children.

Best food and margaritas in Ames. Owner is fantastic! Hidden gem for sure!
Nice portions, friendly staff, lots of choices. Been there a few times & always enjoyed my selections. We'll make it a steady go to.

My first time at La Fiesta. It was after 9pm, I was looking for dinner after a long day at work. I sat at the bar while I waited for my food. The gentleman behind the bar, who I presumed was the owner given the talk that we had, was very polite and personable. I ordered the Enchiladas Cancun as take-out. It was delicious. I will definitely order it again. And I will definitely stop by and eat at La Fiesta again. Their salsa had very good flavor as well.
