Welcoming coffee shop in downtown Ames. Coffee is delicious and ingredients are sourced locally.

Superb, wonderful coffee. My wife adores their tea, especially the Alex. Staff are very knowledgeable and pleasant. The shop is very hip;

Went in looking for some whole bean coffee for my new coffee grinder and the barista was very friendly in suggesting a bag of coffee for me to try. Ordered a cappuccino while I was there which tasted great. Overall a great place and definitely recommend it to people looking for local coffee and espresso.

Quiet, nice vibe on a weekday morning. The espresso shot was poorly done - minimal texture/mouthfeel, over extracted, and kind of lukewarm. I think it was probably over extracted because the ratio was way too high. They should work on getting dialed in a little better in the morning.

Delicious seasonal flavors! The Rhubarb and Pumpkin Spice are the best!

A great addition to Downtown Ames! Their espresso is the best in town, and the baristas are knowledgeable & offer great guidance if you aren't sure what to try next! The dessert/snack options are wonderful, and generally locally sourced (and often times allergen-friendly)!Dietary restrictions: Ofte have gluten free baked goods available.

Had a lovely time working on my college paper. I was there for a couple hours and the noise level was never too high and everybody was very friendly! GREAT coffee, too!

They need to adjust their website’s posted hours and the posted hours on their physical door if they truly are not going to be open daily from 7am to 5pm. My wife and I tried going there this morning around 7:45 am and the place was locked up tight and the lights were off when Google said they were open and there was no updated sign on their door for any special hours.

Con limon drink got my attention at the first glance of the menu, it’s half cold brew and lemonade. A very special drink, it’s very refreshing, with slight coffee taste and some sweet and sour. It actually make me feeling like beer tasting. Recommend. I also tried the dragon fruit cookie. Was toooooo sweet for me, just had one bite, and don’t think could finish it at all. It’s also a great place to work/hang out/ group study. Wi-Fi is free and fast.

I recommend the Jacklynn with an extra shot add a pump of chocolate and vanilla. I deliver for amazon and will make my way to this shop every time I'm in Ames. If your a coffee nut or not. It really doesn't matter. Welcome to your new addiction.
