I got the Family pack it comes with 3 lbs of meat of your choice. I got Carnitas, Birria, and Carne Asada. It also comes with warm tortillas, and trimmings: cilantro, onions, lime, grilled onions and cerrando peppers. 1 two litter soda. It was so good First ordering here but I totally recommend it.;)

There are a couple of really good Mexican restaurants in Ames, but this new place has THE BEST food. A step up from a food truck (Rico's is great) and more ad hoc than a nice sit-down place (el Azteca is great) -- this is casual Tienda-based place with seating, with friendly folks and, Importantly, great food. I have been in three times. Birria brisket tacos are awesome. The tortas are great. Sometimes, I wake up thinking I need these tacos.

Burrazo lengua is great. Ramen birria is also great. Tamales are really really good. Atmosphere is very nice and the staff are so friendly and awesome.
Our daughter highly recommended, and she was right. We tried tacos de lengua, tacos al pastor, and birria. I think they're all the best we've ever had!
Have had take out from here twice now thanks to my friend who recommended it (and actually paid for it both times). The food is great. Very authentic and GOOD! I have only had the tacos (pork, beef , chicken) and the guacamole and chips but we will definitely be going back to try many other things !!
