The yellow curry is to die for. Seriously tastes so authentic! The place is so cozy and very friendly customers. There's also free hot tea next to the self-serve water area. Highly recommend!

We went for a group lunch and everyone ordered separately. Although the price was average but the type of service is kind of fast food type. The food I tried is really bad in taste. Not even authentic taste. I ordered one turmeric fried rice and fried dumplings. My fried rice almost taste like turmeric. Other things I tried are really bad including fried dumplings.

I cannot praise this restaurant enough. The food is not only great but at a reasonable price! Every time someone asks me where they should go out to eat I always recommend Thai Kitchen. Food is very good and authentic.Only thing I would say there would be a good improvement is the facility it is at. I feel like the tables, chairs are a bit uncomfortable; so I usually just resort to take outs.Food is usually out in less than 10 minutes in non busy hours which is very good. And on busy days usually maxx I had to wait was 45 minutes; but they were packed.Reception is always friendly:)!Parking: Lack places to find parking… but there’s always someplace nearby to park

Went to Thai Kitchen today while in Ames. Came in and ordered at the register before sitting down. The place seemed like a fast food place by the way the service works where you have to order at the register and grab your own water. Their Gluten-free options are limited to the curries and fried rice. So we got the red curry with chicken and gluten free fried rice with chicken and shrimp. I love me some Thai Iced milk tea so I ordered some and I was disappointed when I got it. The Thai milk tea was so sweet and tasted more like sugary milk rather than the strong taste of Thai black tea. The fried rice was tasty and my husband enjoyed the red curry. Unfortunately I was not blown away but I see how this is a popular place because they are quick at bringing out your food and drinks. Food was decent but I was just put off by the taste of days old Thai tea. Hope they improve their Thai Tea and overall quality.

Perfect little spot for amazing thai food. Almost the absolute ideal campus town spot for ISU students, but the rest of us can enjoy it too. Great menu with plenty of vegetarian options - steamed or fried tofu is a protein choice in just about anything. And the main draw: the food. Just delicious. Makes me wish we lived much closer. I'll definitely be back!Vegetarian options: Tofu, fried or steamed, is a protein option in almost every dish.

My first time coming to eat here was great I had the Thai fried rice and the Thai wings, and thai tea, I was really impressed, I've come back and ordered the same thing, however I AM DISAPPOINTED. The wings the sold to me were old, like they were from the night before. I spent $46 and to get leftover wings for the price is unacceptable. Seeing that it was game day, I was looking forward to enjoying a nice meal with friends. Then I call and phone just rang until they hung up. I guess to ensure that you get fresh food you have to eat in the establishment. I don't think I'll be patronizing again. I was impressed by the speed it took for my order because I came a bit after 11 am opening time, now I understand why, they didn't cook the two orders of wings, they were just heated up and sold. I guess they don't care. VERY DISAPPOINTED I will post a picture of them, because when I got home and opened the container, you could tell

I have been eating here for 20 years! Wonderful family-owned business. Salmon Panang, Siamese Crab Delights, Spicy Mock Duck, and any of the curries. I have never had a bad meal here. :)

I ordered a glass noodle soup and 2 Thai rice chicken. I spent more than $40 and both dishes barely had any chicken. The glass noodle soup had more noodles and onions than anything else, I had to throw it away it was terrible. I am not going bck there, it was my first and last time I go there.

Really good Thai food! The portions are good size and service is super quick. Really liked the yellow and Masaman curry. The fried rices looked really good too!The prices are pretty reasonable too for the portion size. Also have self-serve jasmine tea and water. Would recommend!
