Walked into the restaurant, none of the ordering kiosks were working. 6 employees working but no one would wait on the customers that hadn't ordered online. Waited 10 minutes, then left. Absolutely the worst fast food restaurant in Ames! If you don't go thru the drive thru or order online, you won't get served!

Took 10-15 minutes to even put our order into your system. Then order 2 Dreamcicle frosties only to be told they didn’t have them. So then we preceded to have to go back and remove them from our order!!! Also, the bathroom was dirty! Won’t go back to the Ames store again!!

Everytime we go here it’s the slowest experience ever just to order the food. There’s usually one person in there that doesn’t hate the fact that you’re ordering food and no shot will a manager help you. The food is now as expensive if not more than going to a sit down restaurant and you could say it’s for convenience but it’s not it’s slower.

Trying to go in to dinning room to order a to-go order at 9:45pm but doors were locked. But Arby's across the street had exactly what I needed and I was able to order from the counter. They did not lock up until 10:05 pm.

Tried going in. Couldn’t use cards which was fine, we had cash on us. We stood in line for no less than 10 minutes with not a single employee even caring to look at us. All employees had bad attitudes except one girl on headset who asked how our day was. The lady up front was constantly sighing and throwing down receipts and trays. We ended up leaving. I do not care to go back because of that customer service. As someone who works in a restaurant, this is completely unacceptable if you care to stay open.

The staff is surly, slow and clearly hate their job. The manager was think skinned and had no interest in being helpful.Slow service, poor food quality and no interest in customers are the hallmarks of this Wendy's. I'm not sure why Ames can't get a decent fast food restaurant (McD's is awful, BK closed, Wendy's is awful, no Hardee's).

Unless you want the wrong order don’t go here. I waited 20 minutes online only to get the wrong food. This has happened multiple times and is the last time I will give this Wendy’s a chance. AVOID THIS
