The team at Cabaret is friendly, and the food selection is a welcomed plus in comparison to other bar restaurants in Ankeny. They have a great selection of sandwiches, including original and unique tenderloin options I highly recommend! If pizza is your thing, there's a good line of ingredient full and tasty options. Beyond the normal options found everywhere, you'll have more clever and appetizing options at Cabaret. The appetizers are good and sized as expected. Make sure to pair your evening with a cocktail off the menu, this is top notch. The vibe is good, better with a nice evening on the patio. The staff and people make this a place worth visiting if you're out. Very reasonable pricing and a fair amount of seating even in the peak hours.Vegetarian options: Cabaret has a meatless hamburger option that isn't the cheap black bean or compressed soy version. It's always prepared well and served best on a pretzel bun with some Cab fries!

Really not too bad, people were open to new faces, went for karaoke on a Thursday and ordered the special 12$ or 14$ lg.pizza had a great mixed drink, just prefer bars to have pool tables,

Good size patio, not a bad spot in the summer to have some drinks outside. Had hopes the food would be good. We just finally tried the food after living in Ankeny for about six years now. Got there a little after 5pm, extremely loud, had to pretty much shout to hear each other. I made the mistake of ordering the "prime rib" melt. I should've taken a picture, It didn't look or taste like any prime rib I've had before and I've had a lot, not good at all. Au jus was also completely tasteless. The table next to us had some good looking boneless wings, I think if we go back it's best to stick to chicken.

My Friends and I came to Cabaret for dinner and drinks this weekend. We had a great time!! Despite being packed our bartender Maya had our drinks and food out surprisingly fast. She was so sweet any little request we had she was on top of it. We will definitely be back!!! Only complaint- bar was a tad smoky from the kitchen - poor ventilation.
Came here last night and everything was great. Quick seating, good food, and friendly staff. Our bartender maya was the best! Very informative about the menu and fast service. Will definitely be back.

Me and some friends decided to try out a new place tonight. Started off with a few drinks and our server Maya was super nice! She was accommodating and gave us good drink/food recommendations. We also tried our hand at karaoke and I apologize in advance to anyone that heard us haha. Overall we had a great time! Fun atmosphere, patient staff, and amazing cocktails :)
The drinks were quickly made by Erica and they were so delicious. She was attentive and garnished the drink correctly! Will be coming back more often for the quick service and the friendly environment.

Cab is one of my favorite bar and grills in Ankeny! One of our favorite staff members is Erika as she is always attentive, friendly, and provides great overall service. Even when the establishment is full, it does not hinder her attentiveness which has always been impressive. We will continue to enjoy going to the Cabaret!
