My kids have been coming here for a while, this was my first time in. Great little small business, family owned and operated in a strip mall across from HyVee. The bagels are quite tasty, with the 'New York' bagel feel. I had the Italian lunch special with the everything bagel, kiddo had the plain bagel with cream cheese. She also had the Hazelnut Latte. Only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because the pop machine was out of my brand of pop and the napkin holder on my table was empty. The store only had 2 guests in a weekday lunch.

Fast and helpful service! Asked what the cashier's favorite bagel was and they said sour cream and onion - I think it's my favorite now too! Delicious just salty enough bagel with a great chew. The cream cheese is super fluffy and clearly made in house, not to mention just how many types of cream cheese they had available! Cute seating area combined with Java Joe's and with lots of creative bagel options to try, I will be returning!

The service here is absolutely remarkable. The way the staff greets you is so genuine every time. They are always smiling, the service is quick and efficient, and the food is good. If you want variety, this place has it. Specialty teas, coffee, and bagels that you can't find in other cafes are here. They also have great decaf options which is so important to me because I can't have caffeine. Due to this, I usually don't have that many options, but here I have so many coffee and tea options. I will continue to support this business.

Food was "meh" good, short on staff but the one that was there was very friendly. I ordered extra lox on my sandwich and I do not think that was provided. I ordered one sandwich & a cup of soup it took about 15 min. There were 2 people I'm front of me (one who mentioned a wrong (order). I personally would expect faster service for a business that definitely gets much busier than when I was in. That being said I would return for the bagels
Not sure how these reviews are so low. Food is really fantastic, I got the breakfast sandwich on a cajun bagel and the flavor was incredible. Their iced chai is also really good. Wait times can get a little long, but I'm willing to wait for quality. One of our favroite breakfast stops!!

Fantastic bagels, generous with the cream cheese. I love the jalapeno cream cheese, it balances so well with an asiago bagel or "the bomb" bagel. Their coffee is all locally roasted (in house I think)

Bagels are delicious! Everything else is where the wheels fall off the bus... First of all you walk in the door and are immediately squeezed into a line of 20 people. Your senses are assaulted by the manager aggressively repeating customers orders and a thick heavy layer of bagel smoke filling the air from the lack of ventilation. It doesn't matter if you want your bagel toasted, it's 50/50 if they fulfill your request. What follows your order is 20 minutes of waiting with awkward glances around the room surrounded by strange decor and crowded placed tables and chairs. Eventually when you do get your food and are ready to leave, you are also gifted with the scent of smoked bagel coating your body and clothing. Wherever you go next, if your food doesn't reveal where you've been, your smell certainly will. Please invest in better ventilation and updated decor with bigger menus.
