Our first time here! Gentleman behind the counter explained everything to us, spoke friendly and clearly cared about his job (you don't see that often anymore). He let us know our pizza would be a wait- No Problem! Our buffalo wings came out first not long wait at all. Next my order of baked stuffed shells with meat sauce that came with the best soft inside/right type of crisp outside garlic bread. The portion was HUGE I shared it with my husband and still have a whole meal leftover to take home. Then the Alfredo 8 slice pizza came, unfortunately I was already full but my husband managed a piece. Overall outstanding food, pleasant staff and very clean.Side note the chairs were very comfy for my pregnant self to sit ?

We've only been to Nonna's twice so far,but it's an instant favorite! I don't know if the staff is all family or not but it sure feels like it. They are all passionate about their food food and it shows. The pizza and onion rings are excellent and we discovered Jamaican style Beef Patties that are amazing! They run out early, but make Nonna's a destination for us.The atmosphere is cozy and the friendly staff is on top of everything.We'll back many more times!

My Husband and I stopped in for a late lunch today and the workers/owners are so kind and service is amazing! We got the Sofia Loren, Buffalo chicken pizza, calamari, and garlic knots and it was hands down the BEST pizza in town! Not to mention the drinks were amazing too. Definitely stop in and try them out if you’re in Ankeny!

We eat here maybe 2 to 3 times a month. The customer service is always phenomenal and they are always appreciative that you chose them. The pizza is amazing and it is genuinely ny style. You can expect the same level of courtesy and great food each time you go. I am glad they are so close to where we live
