We restaurant hop on date night. Appetizers at one, main at one, dessert at a third. This was our appetizer stop. We chose the brussel sprouts and shrimp. It comes with sprouts sauteed with bacon, topped with shrimp. There is cranberry relish on the side. It was excellent. We also had a drink. Service was excellent. Great location, great view of the lake.
People say they come here for the great view of the lake. We sat in front of a large window that was steamed-over and could not see outside very well. You would think a restaurant manager who reads reviews on Trip Advisor would quickly know the view here is why people come here--not the food. So why would they not fix a big window looking out on the lake? Which brings me to the food. You may have a 50/50 chance of getting good food. We stopped by the Hi-Point one night with a group of friends. We all had a drink and then got the sample desert plate. It was good but nothing crazy special. The staff was nice and the view was pretty.
