Nautical's had the best hamburger I've ever tasted in my 67 years! It was outstanding. The rest of the family enjoyed their orders as well, but their burgers are off the charts! Thumbs up.
Overall not impressed. It's a neat place, but the food wasn't great. I went a second time and ordered a different beef item - still too salty. My buddies thought the same. I like salt - but that was just too much.Cut back on the salt in your burgers/steak, and they would be pretty good.

Duck wontons. Yes please. Pork tenderloin. Think of a normal bun then add two inches to the diameter and that's the tenderloin. Huge. Yes please. Taco salad. Yes please. Service. Amazing. Environment. Sports lovers perfection. PBR. Yes please. Some fish my Mom got. She loved it. No pics. That's my bad. But every time I'm in okoboji I'm there for that tenderloin!

Our family dropped by on the Thursday night the Vikings were playing so the place was close to full and fairly loud (in a good way!). This is a dive bar with food on the main drag in Arnolds Park. The food was good, but this is the third time within three weeks that I've been served cold fries. Not lukewarm, cold. They once were warm, but not recently. Very surprising on a night when the velocity of food delivery was high and heavy. I recommend the corn beef Reuben, which is as authentic as I've had ! BUT, DON'T order the fries !

Sat at Nautical the better part of a September Saturday afternoon watching various games. Apparently, NBC blocked out the Notre Dame game so we had to watch that one on our phones. We started with bloody marys which were better than average but nothing to call your friends about. We had prompt service with a good attitude even when we asked our server to split the bill 4 ways. I had fish n chips which were fish bites instead of fingers. Good but not hand-battered. Fries were good - tasted like McDonald’s. Reasonably priced. Bathrooms clean and well-stocked. Great place to meet up with friends!
