My boyfriend and I wanted to try this restaurant, as we love to support local. We went on a Saturday about noon. Our waitress came over to get our drink order and asked if we wanted appetizers. We ordered drinks and said an appetizer. She asked us again if we wanted an appetizer, so we told her again. It took us over 10 min to get our drinks as the bartender was messing with the TV. We got our appetizer before our drinks. We told her we were ready to order and she had to go get her hand held. She then proceeded to go to 3 other tables before she made it back to us. We ordered and I asked for another ranch for the appetizer she already brought out. Needless to say, that was the last time our waitress came to the table in over 30 min. No ranch, no checking on our drinks and no food. After an hour at the restaurant, my chicken wings came out burnt and bone in when I ordered boneless. And by boyfriend didn’t even get his food. At that point, I told my boyfriend not to reorder as I wasn’t waiting another hour for wings and walked out to the truck. He came out about 5 min later with his food and the burnt chicken wings stating that they gave them to us on the house. With ALL that said, we won’t be back. The Bloody Mary was great, but that was the only good part about the experience. I have been in the customer service industry for 20+ years, so I give grace to servers. This needed more than grace….
Not a huge meat eater so really appreciated how delicious the macaroni and cheese and beans were and the pulled pork , yummy!!! The hubs had ribs and they were a 5 outa 5!! Everyone else raved about the brisket and potato salad. We'll definitely be back.
