“I've never had bad service at Jimmy's Pancake House. You definitely get the feeling that the staff just don't work there because the tips are good; they actually LOVE their jobs!!! Top that with the increased seating due to the restaurant expansion and, of course, the food is always SCRUM-DIDDLY-UMPTIOUS, you can't go wrong with a visit to Jimmy's!“
“We had a group of 9 (ages 10-63) stop in about 10pm on a Saturday. We had the ABSOLUTE best time! The food was great, our server was awesome and the owner was so much fun! We sang, danced and took tons of pictures and videos. I highly recommend this restaurant! We will most definitely go back when we are in the area again. Thank you for a great experience!“
“Awesome food, pricey for the area but worth it as a treat. Even on a busy weekend with a small wait to be seated we still managed to be in and out within an hour. Service is slow (taking orders and getting drinks) but food comes out fast once ordered.“
“Excellent spot for breakfast and brunch. Pancakes were delicious, light and fluffy. Biscuits and gravy were good, but the gravy was a little under seasoned. Southern potatoes were an excellent version of the traditional hash browns!Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian optionsKid-friendliness: Very kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Excellent, restaurant is l on one level“
“An old style restaurant which apparently lets people smoke inside if the restaurant. Went inside an it is very largr and can accommodate large parties or individuals. They have a few beers on tap and offer pepsi products for your beverage choice. Lots of burger choices for lunch. Went with the bbq pork sandwich which is topped with cole slaw and an order of fries. The bba sandwich was just ok the fries where very good. I would be willing to stop in again sometime.“
“Another good restaurant near the trinity hospital. Specializes in hamburgers with a wide selection of craft beers that either they make or other iowan brewers do. You have a choice of a tall table top or a booth to set at. Many televisions surround the main room with various sports on them. When it gets warmer there is an outdoor patio thatvyou can eat as well. There is also a wine menu that you can select from as well. I choose the irish stout with a blue burger. It was a bitbover cooked for my taste as i generally prefer a rare burger and this one was medium or well done they didn't ask me how i wanted it prepared.“
“I'm at the point in my life, where paying more is worth what you get. With that being said, they are a little pricey, but well worth it. The food is amazing, and have yet to find anyone serving anything similar to them. Their Brunch buffet is top of the line, and the tatse is out of this world. Almost beats home-cooked food in my opinion. I love breakfast, and there is one other breakfast place in Rock Island IL I reqlpy enjoy, but they do nkt offer the brunch buffet. Buffets are my weakness.“
“We had a wonderful experience this afternoon. We took our one-month old newborn out to eat for her first restaurant visit. Susan was extremely nice to us - she took our picture to commemorate and even gave us our meal for free. We’ll definitely come again!“
“I was downright impressed with the breakfast sandwich I had. I've eaten a sandwich or two in my day, but this was really good. Went with the double sausage biscuit, and it was hot, fresh, and the biscuit was perfection. I don't care that it is fast food. I don't care that it was so cold outside you couldn't feel your face. What mattered in that moment was hot breakfast, and they didn't disappoint.Parking: The entrance from State St is a nightmare, and the layout overall is really weird. But it works.“
“This is a wonderful place for a good meal and good vibes. Everyone here is laid back and friendly. The gryo is great and the fries are good size. The gryo is packed with seasoned goodness. The loaded fries could be a meal by itself. I enjoyed my meal and will return soon.“
