Edit for the owner: I wanted to try your coffee shop because you were not a Starbucks* however prices & the amount of coffee we got in our cups was only 8 fl. oz meaning when we paid for a 20oz coffee cup and got a full cup of ice. That's disappointing. I'm all for supporting local-family owned over chains. However, when you fill a cup with all ice and 8oz of coffee and call it 20 oz coffee, you're ripping people off. I wanted the coffee, not the ice. ------Wanted to try a new coffee place than a regular Starbucks. The price is more than a Starbucks. The 20oz cup of coffee was only 8oz of coffee. A rip-off. Wicked disappointed. 2 coffees, 2 disappointed people.

Cute little coffee shop in Bettendorf. Has a witchy, dark academia vibe to it with super tasteful furniture (Science lab tables, vintage leather couches, pipets as vases). The 2 baristas were very friendly and upbeat. The menu is apothecary themed with “concoctions, healers, slicers, and remedies”. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a coffee shop with a more alternative feel. Also the playlist here is phenomenal. Great place to hang out or work/study.

Ok first and foremost, the inside of this place is beyond perfection. Just go inside and you'll know what I mean. I would have DREAMT of a coffee shop like this when I was in college for studying and coffee dates. The melon energy drink is out of this world. Soooo tasty! But what takes the cake for me is the chemist bfast sandwhich. Oh. My. God. I can't get enough of these. I swear I will purposefully not plan for bfast so I can on accident have to come here to grab one. Trust me on this, you need one.

Not really hidden (great location) but definitely a gem. If you love good quality coffee this is your place. The whole place is a vibe and is unlike any other coffee shop I've been to. I would give it more than five stars if I could. I feel like prices were lower than the competition which is an added bonus. Today I am drinking the lobotomy..which is a cold brew with 4 shots of espresso... a coffee lovers dream. We all need coffee, but if coffee isn't your drink of choice, they have the best smoothies and others energy drinks. Check them out TODAY..TOMORROW..AND EVERYDAY AFTER THAT.

Went here for my first time recently and it was amazing! The ambiance was cool, cashier was really nice and coffee was great tasting! I got the "Hela Cell" and it had me ready to come back the next day for more. Definitely recommend trying this place out.
The best way to start your day is with one of their elixirs and a burrito. Definitely my favorite shop in the whole

We ordered two coffee flights (seasonal & the premium). They were both deadly sweet. Tasted as if each mini beaker has 5+ pumps of syrup in each drink. We wanted to still taste the coffee. While it's a cute novelty, not worth it in my opinion for what you get. Just order regular coffee.

A day of no internet at home sent me looking for a place to work. Coffee apothecary’s ambiance and seating fit the bill. The coffee was delicious and the breakfast burrito I had for lunch was exceptional. Definitely coming back.

I've been here more than a dozen times over the past year and my standard order (20oz cold brew w/light toffee cold foam) is excellent but has become extremely expensive. My order came to $7.49 today which is the most costly in the quad cities and surrounding area for the same type of order (cold brew & flavored cold foam), and I typically get a 24oz at most other shops. Overall I'd say my drink here hits the top 5 for cold brew in the QC, but there are other shops I can frequent that have phenomenal drinks at a more reasonable cost.

They went all-in on the theme and it works! This is a wonderful place to hang out or get some work done away from home. The staff is super chill and friendly. The drinks are unique and delicious. This will probably be part of my regular rotation!
