I will preface this review by stating that this order was placed during a snow storm. The restaurant appeared to be woefully understaffed with one person handling the entire front end.My pizza (Ale crust personal Meat Me) came with just andouille and pepperoni about 30 minutes after the pickup time. The crust was half cooked and limp when taking it out of the box.The employee apologized and said all the orders came in at once (there were several others waiting for pickup orders during my 30 minute wait)If I had to guess, I would say that the person up front was struggling with less than adequate kitchen staff, and no wait staff. It probably wouldn't matter how many orders were backing up when you can't get a cook to fire a small pizza and land all the ingredients on it. Side salad and sundae were good, but I would rather have a better main feature over some decent sides that most likely had some prep time involved when they weren't understaffed.

The worst experience I've had at a restaurant ever. 50 minutes after ordering we found out that they were out of the Philly that my wife ordered. We were there with 4 kids under 10 and a 1 year old and the food came out after 1.5 hrs and the Mac and cheese and Alfredo were completely cold for my kids. Then waited 20 more minutes for my calzone while my family ate. Additionally my wife had a huge black hair in her chicken sandwich and had to quit. I complained and was told not to cause a scene. Management and ownership should be embarrassed and need to make some major changes. This is the first bad review I've ever written and realize running a restaurant is difficult, although I hope I can keep other families from going through what we went through. We moved out of the Midwest and were traveling through so we were excited to experience an Old Chicago, which used to be one of our favorite places. Terrible mistake and I guess they stopped holding their locations to any standards.

Skip the appetizers. They're not worth it, and they'll come out with your food. Pizzas were excellent. Staff friendly, just slow. Maybe just short staffed.

If I could give 0 stars, w would. I don’t know how this place can even call itself “Old Chicago!” I ordered a deep dish pizza and what I got was a cold, thick crust, tasteless piece of dough with hardly any toppings. When I called back to complain about the pizza, the person answering the phone told me that they don’t make deep dish pizza anymore. Well that might have been useful information when I ordered it because I thought that I was ordering a “deep dish, Chicago style pizza!!!!!” Don’t waste your money because this place went downhill!!!!!

Wish I could base the entire review on the food, because it was awful. We ordered an ale crust pizza that came out to our table cols. The bottom crust was almost non-existent, so thin and soggy, couldn't even get it off the tray. They made a new one, which was served fairly hot, but crust was the same. I would hate to see what their thin crust is like. Manager on duty seemed "off" not, I'm not sure how to say anything else without being rude, so I'll keep it at that. Waitress was good and seemed to understand why we were complaining. Yet we still had to spend hard earned money on this garbage, and didn't even eat more than 1 slice. There's a reason why they weren't busy on a Friday night. Definitely would not go back!

Service is really slow, we spent about an hour waiting for a 14 inch pizza and 2 wings orders. Manager was reasonable with that and took care of us but definitely they need some extra hands back there.

We called at 3:50 and asked to order a carryout pizza to be picked up at 4:45 pm after being placed on hold for 15 min. After finally calling back we placed our order. We are frequent diners and we live 30 mins away so we need to plan ahead. When we got home our pizza was completely dried out. The picture does not do the lack of sauce justice. It was basically inedible. At least we had our boneless wings to fall back in. As a world beer tour card holder we were disappointed.

8 of us came for dinner and it was incredibly painful to get our drinks, and get our food. It was 2 hours of my life I’ll never get back. One of our group was served a significant amount of time after the other 7. The food was decent, but this store is very old and needs a facelift. It’s not a welcoming restaurant. And businesses have to stop the crutch of how bad Covid impacted their ability to get employees. Figure it out and pay people so they want to work for you. No more “we just can’t find employees”!

Bartender can't make a drink and as I was watching her make my mix drink she never put in the liquor and her hair went into the shaker as she was grabbing the juices. She never checked on me and I had to wave her down each time I needed to place an order because she was too busy hanging out with the belligerents behind me, and at the other end of the bar. Clearly overserved they came up behind me multiple times, asking the same questions and just acting like a bunch of teenagers. One of which eventually brought in a box full of one week old puppies, which mind you puppies should not be away from their mother at that age because they can't control their body temperature and can get very sick from all the hands touching them. And two people came up to me from behind and put their dirty hands on me to let me know that there are puppies in the bar. Gross. As somebody who has a service dog themselves, this is very unprofessional. I will say my chicken was good, but the pasta was swimming in sauce unfortunately, and although the sauce was good, I don't like my pasta going to the pool. Overall, I feel like you'll get good service if your friends with the bartender or somebody there but if you're an outsider, do not go here. You will be treated like you're an inconvenience.

If I could give no stars I would.Poor management Been on hold with management after ordering a large order , only brought part of order. No pizza was delivered ? The main meal. Tried to blame delivery people, not their fault. We'll eat ranch and cheese bread until the same pizza will show up, cold no doubt.

I wish I could rank higher, but we didn't even get a table. I can understand if it was packed, but we went in the middle of the afternoon on a Sunday, and there was hardly a crowd. We watched a waitress walk right past us.It's been a while since we had eaten here, and the lack of care was disappointing. Will not be back anytime soon.
