Stood at the bar for 15 minutes, several employees were talking amongst themselves and didn't even acknowledge I was standing there. I left!

Beautiful day outside. Had to order food at bar if sitting outside. Staff did not let us know was ready. In a to go box, and was evidently sitting for some time. Food cold and soggy. Menu limited to only apps. when outside. Thre bathroom open and unlocked for men but not woman. Had to go inside to use B R. Discriminatory for sure.

The atmosphere is great! Very classy, awesome vibes, good music. Service was sub-par though, and a default 20 percent tip for parties over 8 is a bit ridiculous. Especially when we're served drinks in plastic disposable cups that are refilled only once on a random, not busy weeknight. Not to mention we had to ask multiple times for ketchup so the three children at the table would eat their French fries. The food was also disappointing with the nachos, Ruben, and kitchen sink pizza being visibly blackened and tasting obviously burnt. Their menu has also shrunk over time, the first time my wife and I came here we had what seemed like double the options (also with burnt food that visit mind you). Overall, great for drinks and ambiance, but don't expect amazing service or food.

Stopped in on the afternoon of 4/6/24 - Allee was taking care of us, and is wonderful!!! Made great recommendations! The Burnt Ends appetizer was spot on. And the Brisket Philly is a great sandwich. Highly recommend this stop, from the front patio with firepit to the back patio with big screen, wonderful spaces and atmosphere.

We are Mug club members and enjoy our service and 3 of our favorite bartenders take care of us very well. Danny, Lexi and Sarah. Feels like a neighborhood bar (Cheers) ??

Great service! Great beers and cool vibe. Maybe a bit loud for having a conversation. Unfortunately they have really reduced their menu which used to be amazing.

Went here for the first time Friday night (St. Patrick's Day weekend). Was pretty busy, as expected. Checked in with the hostess and was told it would be about an hour wait. She told us we could go outside and order drinks and appetizers from the bar and they'll text us when our table is ready. Took awhile to get drinks and food ordered, but totally understandable as busy as it was. We were told to check back in 20-30 minutes to see if our food was ready. About 20 minutes later, I got in the line that appeared to be the food pickup line. Pretty sure I heard my name when I walked up. After 3 people picked up their food and I was next, the bartender walked away and began helping customers on the other side. Just then I got the text our table was ready. We decided to sit and have our server get our food. After waiting about 10 minutes, a very rude woman approached and asked if we wanted more to drink. We both ordered another drink and explained the situation about the appetizers. She then proceeded to tell us that any food ordered at the bar is "to go" and must be consumed outside. I said ok, then I want a refund for that order and we'll order something else. She then went and got a manager, who was probably the rudest person I've ever met in a hospitality position. She told us the same thing the server did and concluded with, "for future reference." I began to respond to her but she just rolled her eyes and walked away. Because she said for future reference, I assumed that meant they would make an exception this one time. About 10 more minutes later, the rude server returned and said, "so what are you gonna do? Get your food and go back outside?" So we got up to go back to the bar to get our food. On the way, I saw the rude manager at the hostess stand. I stopped and told her she should probably tell the hostesses what she told us so they don't tell more customers that it's OK to order an appetizer and drink at the bar and then still get a table inside. She said she already did that and again rolled her eyes and turned her back to me. I looked at the two hostess standing there and they both looked like they had no idea what was going on. We went to the bar and stood there for another 10-15 minutes to get our food, which by now was cold and soggy. Worst experience at a restaurant or bar I have ever experienced in my life. I can't believe how incredibly rude the server and manager were. They never once smiled. They never once apologized. They both just looked at my wife and I as if we didn't belong there and shouldn't have come. I wish we hadn't. If I owned the place, these two women would be fired! We would anyone want someone like that representing their business?!? I will NEVER return to this place ever again! When an employee tells a customer something, a good manager will follow through and back what was said to the customer and then explain to the employee what they did or said that was wrong. You don't take it out on your paying customer as if they did something wrong!

Great food, great atmosphere. There were lots of cars in the parking lot, but we were able to quickly get a table.Dietary restrictions: Accomodated a celiac dinner with excellent gluten-free options. They don't have a separate menu, and GF items are not marked on the menu, but the server was knowledgeable and helpful.

Had a nice meal here last night. I didn’t get photos of the food but it was good. We had burnt ends, Irish soup and the wedge salad. My only critique would be I felt the burnt ends had too much bbq sauce on them for my liking but otherwise they were very good. The place itself is quite large and tastefully decorated. They have a very big outdoor area where you can sit closer to the building and the bars or go out a little farther and there’s a big screen TV out there. There are heaters as well. It’s just a great event space and spotFor food and drinks!

First off when you enter the restaurant you see a sign on the wall saying veterans/ military appreciation which is false advertisement to get people to think they support with a discount which they do not. The discount wouldn't change my life but I hate the fact a place would try and deceive people into thinking there is one. Theres a reason when I come home on leave I go to Texas Roadhouse multiple times.Reddit will have a hayday with this lol

Came to have lunch with my son and husband. We were sat at a table and had every server in the restaurant walk by us and not say a thing. Even had who I guess was the manager look at us and not say anything or come up to the table. We waited about 15 minutes without anyone speaking to us before we decided to just leave.

I visited the Tangled Wood for the first time ever to join good friends for dinner..The atmosphere and interior design/decor is on point, the venue is family friendly, the menu offers something for nearly every palate, and the portion sizes are ample..I preceded my food order with a margarita crafted with Casamigos Reposado tequila, and it was one of the best margaritas I've had.. Blended perfectly and served with salt and lime.. It was quite refreshing!!I sampled the breaded pork tenderloin sandwich, the pasta salad, and the cheese cubes and wasn't disappointed with any of it..The cheese cubes arrived piping hot and with all three possible dipping sauces as requested.. The sweet chili and Tangled sauces were quite flavorful and added flavor to the cubes without taking anything away from the cubes themselves..The pork tenderloin sandwich was a robust serving, lightly breaded and seasoned, and delivered to the table hot and cooked perfectly.. It was a delight..The pasta salad held its own against everything else and was delivered cold and with a balanced flavor.. It was the perfect compliment to the hot sandwich..All in all, I was delighted with my first visit to The Tangled Wood and am looking forward to my next visit, whenever that might be..
