This country store was great! It had something for everyone. Free samples of soft serve ice cream and pop corn were available as well as some deli choices. Prices were reasonable and service was excellent and restrooms were clean and well stocked.

Their bakeshop is only open Fridays & Saturdays. People line up even before they open on those days. They have unforgettable cinnamon rolls & sticky buns which are still warm. Their donuts are either sugar or jelly filled, but just as fresh. These are my two most favorite items there. You can order ahead by calling, because they do run out of those cinnamon rolls. One time, there was a guy in front of me in line who had ordered six of them!

My wife and I stopped here on a beautiful November 9 day. After enjoying a nice drive from Mt. Pleasant, we found some things to buy for ourselves and as Christmas gifts. Quality furniture was the main draw on this particular visit.

Oh my - I stopped at this shop while riding on RAGBRAI a few years ago. My mother made cinnamon rolls every sat night for Sunday breakfast. They were the best ever! The cinnamon rolls at Yoders - were the only rolls that have came close to my mothers in 50 years. In fact - they may have been just a little better. These rolls are soft and pillowy without being doughy with just the right amount of cinnamon and cream cheese frosting. At $.50 each they were quite a bargain. I happily bought a second one for $2. I can't wait to stop by again!
