My chicken wings were not crispy but they did have a good flavor. I love the pita bread chips my salad was great the appetizer was not what we expected and it had too much oil in it. I would go again

It took forever to get our food and that I couldn’t get a glass of hot water to warm up a bottle for my baby. Our appetizer wings came out long after our pizza, the restaurant was FREEZING. The kids we had with us were shivering because they had it so cold, so cold that our pizza was hot for about 2 minutes after reaching the table. The service was fine but nothing to write home about, they asked if any of us wanted refills as we were getting up to leave. Definitely do not recommend this place I wish there was any thing I could say that was positive about our experience but unfortunately it was just over priced mediocre food in very uncomfortable environment.

I’m still here. Been here about an hour and we aren’t the only ones who’ve waited a long time. Takes about twenty minutes before the waitress will acknowledge your table. Don’t come here. Robert Irvine, where are you!?

We were starving & so excited to finally try this place after a baseball tournament. Pleased when we pulled into a nearly empty parking lot. Walked in and only 4-5 tables were taken. Ordered our food and it slowly filled up. Kids were so hungry they ate all the Parmesan cheese in the hour wait. All the tables around us that arrived way after us all got their food. I was optimistic until that. After an hour and 20min we asked what was going on then finally got our food. Total it was an hour and a half after placing the order when we walked into a nearly empty restaurant. I sat at the table alone for 10min waiting for our bill. Never again

The best pizza around. Kids get to make their own pizza.

We adore Coalhaus, especially on Wednesday when wine is BOGO, bottle or glass. The Buffalo chicken calzone is out of the world, as are the Brussels sprouts. My husband is obsessed with the wings, they're prettty great. Can't go wrong

We only visit once a year but have never been disappointed. The steaks are amazing. The service is awesome. The desserts are decadent.

First time experiencing this place.Overall, I like this place.Loved their appetizers. The side salad that comes with the meal was a new experience for me and my wife, but I enjoyed it.For some reason this time, my wife and I had some issues. I know a restaurant can't be perfect everytime. Our waitress was great and fixed everything for my wife.1st if you order the fried Brussel Sprouts, beware they were very spicy.2nd my wife's ribeye steak was overcooked, in defense of Coal House she looked at the menu, got scared by the pinkness of steak in the picture and ordered it medium well instead of her usual medium. The waitress replaced the steak and gave her fries instead. So learn from us.3rd my T-Bone steak which was cooked in the coal fired oven, was a little tough and had some grityness stuck on it, so eating it, I occasionally felt like I was eating gravel dust, which I know is not normal for their steaks. The steak did have great flavor though.Last thing my wife didn't like was, they don't serve the steaks with baked potatoes.Would I go back? Yes. Like I said, the waitress fixed everything. Is it our favorite place of their 4 different restaurants (Coal House, Buffalo Tavern, Buffalo 61, Buffalo 67) no but they have 3 other great restaurants that we love.

Always perfectly prepared. Love the Brussel sprouts! Steak cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth!

This place was so good it deserves my very first Yelp review. Found this place as we were traveling. Lots of pizza combinations to satisfy every taste. I went for Sausage and ricotta. Fresh ingredients, baked perfectly in coal fired oven. Had ricotta meatballs for appetizer, fresh ingredients and excellent sauce. Clean, lively atmosphere. Will have to road trip in the future just to come back here.

Great pizza, we doordashed and the wait wasnt long at all. They packaged it very nicely and neatly. The calzones are kinda alot. Like you have so many options on what to put on it. But it was pretty good. I recommend this place, def a football, sleep over, lounge type of eats.

Comfortable relaxed atmosphere and the service was great. We ordered pizza, the crust was a little dark but even still this was hands down the best pizza I’ve had in Burlington.

The roasted brussels used to be delicious but when I got them tonight they were cold and in a oil bath inside their container, the fried onions on top were limp and saturated in oil. We had to drain the oil before even attempting to eat them, they ended up in the trash after maybe a bite. The meatball sandwich was mainly just onions and peppers. There was hardly any sauce and the peppers and onions were still mostly raw. I used to love coal haus but the food tonight has left me very nauseated.
