Restaurantji unveils Burlington's must-visit Mexican dining spots.
“This is probably the all around best Mexican restaurant in Burlington. I love the ambiance here, and the staff are very friendly. I like my salsa on the chunky side, but theirs unfortunately is not. That is really the only thing I can say negatively about this place. Everything else is delicious and portion sizes are quite generous for the price. I usually get fajitas and take home enough for two more meals. I'm not a queso fan, but my girlfriend is and she thinks this is the best place to go for it. Highly recommend!“
“My whole family loves this restaurant. Their food is delicious and not too expensive. The staff is always pleasant. I never see any of them standing around or using their phones. They are always doing their jobs, which is rare these days. If you want great food with great service, this is your place to go! They serve Mexican and American.“
“Tonight was our first time at Quesos in Burlington, IA. I had the Burrito Bowl as I’m Gluten Free and my husband had the Deluxe Burrito. It was superb! We were seated quickly and Dillon, our waiter, was one of the best we’ve ever encountered! Attentive, Quick and Fun! The restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere. We will most definitely be back!Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free Options!“
“Big menu, friendly wait staff and a bar side or a casual/formal side! I always eat the chicken stir fry without the chili flakes . .I've had spaghetti and french dip, all were amazing...they also have a juicy drink menu, thats a little different but a good different! One of my favorite places to eat in Burlington!“
“This was my first visit at this restaurant, and I asked the gentleman at the counter what his favorite was, which is what I ordered. One nacho crunch chicken burrito and one nacho crunch beef burrito. Great price and filling. I didn't love the beef, but it wasn't bad, and I the chicken was great. The dining room is decorative and clean. Great atmosphere that I enjoyed.“
“GREAT EXPERIENCE! It’s kinda known everyone that if you go to a pancheros, you are not going to have a pleasant experience with staff. They are always grumpy and short with you. They always make the fact that they hate their job your problem, this was not the case at this place. This is genuinely the only pancheros I have been to where the staff were happy and nice. It was also the first time I went to the Burlington one. This was a wonderful experience for me an my friend and we talked about it on the way home. 10/10. We were there 8/26/23 around 7pm if the managers wanna know who the stellar staff was.“
“First of all, Will was our waiter and did a fantastic job. ?? He was courteous and attentive. My wife had the burrito; and I had tacos. The salsa was mild heat, so don't be afraid if you don't like spicy flavors. The burrito was simple flour tortilla filled with mildly seasoned ground beef rolled and covered in cheese sauce. The taco hard corn shell filled with same ground beef, lettuce, tomatoe, and white shredded queso. Both plates came with rice and beans. Although the plates were simple, they were delicious. The best we've had in the last 6 months! You can tell they were prepared with love ❤️. Highly recommend this restaurant for the simplicity of their food, how delicious the food was and because of Will who made our experience pleasant and enjoyable. Your people reveal the exceptional or unexceptional leadership and ownership, in this case it appears... EXCEPTIONAL!“
“My favorite little corner for Mexican food. Way better than the other local options. Verde salsa of the gods! I get steak enchiladas verdes every time I go and they've NEVER been anything short of delicious.Parking: They are on a corner with no side street parking. You have to find a spot on Jefferson or south on the side street beside Hopefully Yours. It's worth the short walk!“
