Their food used to be amazing but has gone way downhill since covid. Service is decent.

Not good this time. We ordered fajitas for two, and the portion sizes were smaller. Then the tins with the fajita meat had way more peppers and onions then meat, so was runny. More like fajita soup. Edible, but not that good for the price. Much better in the past. My husband called and complained, and they did offer to make another. Just too tired to drive all the way back to Carlisle at that point. Carlisle is so close to Des Moines that there are other great Mexican restaurants that get it right every time. Doubt, we will return.

I don't have much to say except Steak Mexicano! I got into town towards close but everyone was still very friendly and accommodating. The service was fast, the steak was delicious, and the spicy salsa was spicy but also very tasty and salted perfectly (easy top 3 best spicy salsas I've had). Chips were a little old, but like I said it was the end of the day and the salsa really surprised me - 5 stars across the board.Parking: Several spots out front, competes with the VA for parkingWheelchair accessibility: Ada door

I don’t remember ever having a bad experience here. Food is fast, fresh, and delicious and the prices aren’t bad either. Friendly service and a nice atmosphere.Vegetarian options: A delicious and extensive list of vegetarian options.Kid-friendliness: Great restaurant with kids. Good kids menu, but our little guy just eats off the regular menu-he likes the good stuff!Parking: Open lot across the street, small lot on side, and street parking around.

Food was good but not great. Server was very friendly. Food was served very fast and was hot. Although not great food, I would still go there again.
