Passing through town - we randomly chose Wilbo for take out. Service was fast and courteous, and the food was fresh and delicious. I chose the Veggie falafel burger and it was excellent. Made with chickpeas, brussel sprouts, cauliflower, and mushrooms, with toppings. We had the pepper rings (think onion rings with bell pepper). Recommend!

The hamburgers are the very best around! Also, the French fries are homemade and are very good! Staff is awesome and the owner is right there working just as hard as her staff.

I was out and about on my on-going quest to great eats !! LOL I asked a local ( always the best source ) for a recommendation for a hot dog place. She told me about Wilbo's on Main Street so I stopped in.My server told me that their burgers are award winners..so it was going to be a burger night !!They have a build you own burger kinda menu and you order exactly the way you like it.Mine arrived exactly as ordered and it was outstanding !!Definitely will be back for another. I suggest you just get a single patty, they are plenty thick and my second one kept wanting to slip out !! LOL

My wife and I ate there today for the first time after several recommendations. Fantastic atmosphere. Service was top notch! I get a very quality 1/2 of beef each year, and am a bit picky on steaks and burgers. I can say unequivocally, the double cheeseburger I had today was the best I've ever had, by a substantial amount! Great job!
I thought that it was a bit pricey for what it was. The food was good and the atmosphere was nice. I was disappointed when I ordered a milk shake for $5 that wasn't bigger then a small glass.

Wilbo has the best burgers. The brats are also near the top of my list. Could use a few more fries in the order. A rather simple bar on a lovely main street in a small town middle of Iowa. If you're close, do stop in. The rest of Main Street, and downtown Cedar Falls is also one of the most relaxed and enjoyable spots in this world.

The ambiance is very comfortable and good service. The food is excellent: A very good burger with soft bun and wonderful fries; An excellent hotdog with chili cheese, onions, and wonderful sweet potato fries. Many choices of good local beers. A place you must stop at if you are in Cedar Falls, Iowa.

I really want to like this place. I hear the burgers are good but the fries and hotdogs are awful. We gave it 2 chances and just can't again. I don't think they know what the oil temperature should be because the fries and pickle fries are extremely greasy. The wait staff is excellent thus the 3 stars. NEED tap beer! Come on Wilbos; you have great atmosphere; get a foody!
