Just popped in out of curiosity, glad I did! The bar tender was really friendly and told me the burgers were the best in town. Well she did not lie! Best burger I've had in Iowa period. Burger was big and juicy! Everything was so well made. It was less than $20 bucks but knowing the quality of the burger I would of gladly paid $60. I will return and am gunna recommend this joint to everyone! Keep up the good work checkers!

Pretty solid place for what it is. Beer was cold, staff was great. I can see how parking can be an issue at times, but easy walk from hotel. Pork tenderloin sandwich was very good, but could be excellent by pounding it thin. Just retained too much oil from frying. I'd come back.
