Your food will come out right half the time. They will miss key ingredients even if it’s listed under the item on the menu. But I do like it for the most part. Just gotta go on a good day. Which is a hit or miss. But when the food is good, it’s good.

My choice for dinner was the Pasta Primavera, which was delicious with a wonderfully flavorful sauce and veggies that were cooked just right. The Limoncello cake was moist and heavenly. The server was attentive, friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the cosy ambiance and music.Vegetarian options: Crosby’s has a few vegetarian options. The one that I tried was delicious. Pasta Primavera.Parking: I found several available free street parking spaces, including one directly in front of the restaurant ! (5:00 pm)

I didn't have any food this trip. In the past, the homemade chips were awesome!

Wow! What a wonderful experience! After trying two other CR establishments that were way over crowded we decided to give this place a chance. So happy we did! It wasn’t crowded, staff were FABULOUS, and food was great! Highly recommend!

Crosby's is a great place to get together with friends. Tasty entries with excellent presentation. I recommend starting with the Seared Scallops. Discounts available on food and drinks during happy hour. We're definitely looking forward to our next visit.

First time dining and won't be the last time. Great prices. Food was amazing. Service was 5 + -- it was so nice to have many of their employees greet you on the way in and thank you on the way out. Can't wait to be back.

Crosby's is located near downtown Grand Rapids Iowa. We went there for breakfast. The food was as very good and the service was outstanding. I had the biscuits and gravy with two eggs over easy. The coffee was also very good. The restaurant has a very welcoming feeling. They have both hightop and normal seating. I would recommend eating at this restaurant.

Probably won’t go back. Every time they’re busy, service goes downhill. “Blistered tomatoes” were just boiled. Couldn’t find the stuffing in the stuffed walleye. Brussel sprouts were baked but not crispy, rice pilaf tasted like white rice… no flavor. $88 for 2. Last time the crab cakes were cold bc I think they were just busy and trying to push stuff out. I kept urging my bf to come, but am now officially giving up on them. BF was looking all meal for waitress for a second drink but she only came back with bill. Disappointing for the high image they try to maintain.

OUTSTANDING!! We are in town for a show at the Allegiant Powerhouse. We walked into a different establishment and didn’t particularly care for the setting so we decided to give Crosby’s a try. EVERYTHING was top notch, great bar offerings, menu with so many choices. My hubby ordered the meatloaf and I ordered Cajun shrimp pasta. Disappointedly, the server let us know that the last to pieces of meatloaf were ordered right before us. So it was Blackend Salmon instead. His salmon entree was so well presented and was delicious. If you aren’t afraid of spicy/hot…the Cajun shrimp pasta is perfect. We did have the pub chips & onion dip as an app also. Pub chips came out FRESH and piping hot! Thank you for doing everything SO WELL!!

My wife and I were struggling to make our minds up on a bar to watch the Big Ten championship game at in the New Bo district. The requirement were: Good TV's, A Atmosphere with some Holiday spirit (Cozy) and some class (Not a dive bar). And most Important a drink special for the game. We had eaten breakfast at Crosby's a week before and we liked the food, so we thought it should meat all the requirements. It's turned out better then we expected. The drink special was $3 domestics and $5 dollar house wine. Score! The crowd slowed down by game time so the manager turned the volume on for the game. Score! Good customer engagement. Score! The food was excellent and nicely presented. Score! It was snowing and the view looking out from the bar was was very nice. My wife liked the $5 wine. The bar stools were very comfortable and a grade up from what you will get at most of the bars in the downtown area. Overall the staff was very engaging and accommodating, which made for an excellent evening. I will be back to catch some basketball games there this winter. Very nice place.

We got our appetizer before we got our drinks. Big oof. Another group of the same size came in after us, got their drinks before us and their food before us. It's unfortunate cause the food wasn't too bad. It seemed our server was the issue. She never asked what side I wanted and didn't take away anything until after we finished eating, and I mean anything! I put our menus on a separate table after we ordered, confused the heck out of another server! The appetizer plates stayed on the table until we finished the rest of our food. We were never asked about refills on drinks, though we did get water replenished with some consistency. We decided not to order a desert given the delay in food and drinks arriving. For additional context, one drink was a beer on tap and the other just a can of root beer and glass of ice. There didn't seem to be any reason for it to take 10-15 minutes for us to get these drinks. Really sad. I don't like writing reviews like this but it really upset me given the place was hardly filled with people. It did fill up of course but not till 30 minutes later, which was about when we got our order taken (that was a joke, but not entirely false either)If you want to take a chance and got the time, you may have a more enjoyable experience.
