I ate there yesterday and had great service and food. It has been my very favorite place for many years. Wait staff is excellent and caring. I ate with a friend who said the same. I even took a dinner home for today. I would give them a 5 rating out of five. I have gone there for over 25 or 30 years.
We were disappointed that our order of soup, one of egg drop, and one of hot and sour was inedible, but for reasons that others might enjoy. The menu states clearly that some soups may contain seafood. I have not experienced prior to this, egg drop soup containing big pieces of surumi (imitation crab). To which I have an allergy. We've been eating at one location or another for 30 years. This isn't fancy Chinese food. It is casual everyday kind of food. I don't think the dishes have changed since they opened. What that gives us, is consistent flavors and expectations met. Even when what you wanted today was just egg-rolls and hour and sour soup.
