Great food, great mission, welcoming staff, and a convenient location! What more can you ask for?! I thought I was receiving an iced tea to go, but I in reality, I think it is cold brew coffee - surprise! But it's very good I will say :)

I wanted to love Groundswell Cafe because of their mission, but it was not a homerun for me. The food menu is limited and is trying to be locally sourced and seasonal. I tried their cranberry chicken salad sandwich and parsnip parmesan soup. While their prices are similar to a Panera, their portions are definitely on the smaller side. The soup was quite tasty, but the sandwich left a lot to be desired. It was pretty dry and the proportion of chicken salad to bread was off. I love the concept, so I'm inclined to give them another try. Maybe breakfast is the way to go.

This is an amazing cafe. We ordered catering for and event for work. Blenda and the rest of the staff were great! Very friendly and accommodating service! I will be returning.
Love this cafe and the concept. Great way to help out others and enjoy great food and drink while doing so! I enjoyed a loose leaf tea - cranberry orange - on this rainy fall day. Although I did not order food it sure looked tasty! I hope to get lunch here in the near future!P.s. tip, tip, tip as each dollar made through tips helps feed other individuals in our community!

Groundswell prepared boxed lunches for over 50 of my co-workers. The packaging was neat, easy to transport and labeled clearly. The process to order and pay was easy. Most importantly the food was delicious!

We utilized Groundwell to cater our annual retreat for a group of 65. The communication regarding food portions was poor. We were told the 1/2 sandwich platter would feed 24 people which lead us to believe we would receive 24 whole sandwiches (or 48 halves). We ended up running out of food at our event because we had one 1/2 sandwich for each person, which was not enough for many of our people.Additionally, the salad we received as part of our catering package was supposed to feed 24 people per bowl. The salad bowls were quite small considering the crowd size and they only contained spring greens and very little (if any) other vegetables, etc. We rain out of salad before half of our group got through the line.When we shared these concerns with the catering team following our event, we were told they were working on creating a better ordering system and when we order again, they will discount us 15%.However, we will not be ordering again due to our experience. Overall we were very disappointed.
