Really solid greasy spoon experience. Iowa nice servers (which is not always given for diners), decent comfort food, clean ambience, and a good mix of townie clientele. The food was quite underseasoned, but nothing that could t be fixed with table salt and pepper. They probably do this on purpose for the older folks who might be limited salt. We had breakfast and everything was pretty much exactly as you'd expect. Generous portions!
I had a wonderful dining experience at this charming restaurant. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. Despite its small size, it's clear that they have a long-standing presence in the community, often with the owner himself as the sole cook. I particularly enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. I ordered the pancakes and omelet, and both were absolutely delicious. This place is a hidden gem
