I recently dined at Outback in Cedar Rapids and had a very good experience. The steak I ordered was cooked exactly as I requested. The wedge salad was generously sized with well proportioned toppings/dressing.What impressed me the most was the manager's presence; she not only checked on our table but also made rounds to ensure every guest was enjoying their meal.My husband enjoyed his steak and shrimp pasta, noting its good portion size and flavorful preparation.Our server was attentive and accommodating throughout the meal.The only feedback I have is regarding the timing of our courses. We received our appetizers and salad, but our entrees followed closely behind, which felt a bit rushed. Overall, though, it was a satisfying dining experience, and I would definitely return.I have been to this Outback several times and it has consistently delivered a pleasant experience.

A steakhouse with no steaks, really? Please tell your customers before they are seated or place a note in the menus that for the last two weeks you only have filets and sirloins; waiting to tell a customer when they are ready to order is unacceptable. Do your steaks come all the way from Australia? There is plenty of beef in Iowa or to make it easier on you there is a Hy-Vee down the street... No wonder Outback is becoming a thing from the past.

Our family went for an early dinner, and it was a poor decision to choose Outback. The place wasn’t busy, in which we preferred. The waitress forgot our bread we had asked for, no big deal, just ver inattentive. My wife ordered a blue cheese wedge, which they were out of. I ordered prime rib, which the waitress also said they were out of. Ended up on the 8oz sirloin. One thing they did correctly was cook the steak to perfection. My son ordered Mac and cheese and I had a side of the mashed potatoes were the most bland thing I have ever tasted. We were very excited to eat at Outback, but it is definitely worth the drive to Texas Roadhouse next time. Unfortunate.

The service was awful. We had to ask repeatedly for our drinks, we had no silverware to eat with. Beer was warm. When we went to pay the bill we put cash and card in the folder. Waited 30 mins for someone to come and take it. They kept my cash and charged my card for the entire bill. When I went to ask why the cash was not taken off our bill, couldn’t find anyone to help us. They shouldn’t assume that was their tip, because it wasn’t. We were a group of 8 and everyone threw money in for their purchase. Bill was 300+.

The steak just did not have a lot of flavor the soup was really good and the salad was a salad. I paid cash but did not get my change back I think that is illegal. But it is ok I took my change out of the tip. Plus a extra dollar for trying to cheat me out of my money.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accesable was fine.
